Decent place to stay if you have to be close to the Alhambra. It is clean, check-in is usually very early at 1:30 (we got there in the morning and there was a sweet older lady at the reception who said we could check in at 1). The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. With the windows closed and the fan running, it stayed very cool even in 80 F weather. I did not see the rooftop but I heard that the view was good.
The major downside, and perhaps this is mentioned in the description, is that it is not good for people with mobility issues. It is you a steep hill and there is no elevator. Going to the Alhambra from there is also not easy unless you are able bodied because no taxi will come up there. I was recovering from food poisoning and was very low in energy and it was pure hell getting around.
Also, the owner (?) of the hotel was not very pleasant. We were asked to not eat in our room, which was very strange, and very inconvenient while being sick. The room itself was very drab and looked a lot nicer in the listing photos.
