The setting is beautiful. The hotel rooms are basic but adequate. Our room was very cold and there was no extra blanket.
Loved staying right on the rim. Walking along the rim and into the canyon …amazing. Beautiful, stunning views at your door step. Cabin was quite small, and didn’t have a microwave, but comfortable.
We love the fact that the property is right on the rim. Walk out the door and 30 feet. We saw the beautiful canyon. Will plan to return someday.

How is this day and time do you have a scratchy Analog TV in a $300 a night hotel room!!!! Can’t even watch 30 minutes of news without it going black and coming back on 2 minutes later… Unacceptable!
Cozy cabins within the park with easy access to shuttle system to take you to many stunning viewpoints of the canyon

Location is Unmatched
The location to the canyon is unmatched. You are steps from the Bright Angel trail. Decent restaurants within walking distance. The cabin is small. Very small. The bed was smaller than a queen. Maybe a twin. Glad my wife and I are small people. The coffee maker in the room needs improvement, but the “fountain” is a store nearby that opens at 6:00 am that has great coffee. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.

I will say you truly cant beat the view. The room was nice and very clean. The staff at check in were wonderful. However, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, and while I expect to be able to hear a little of the other guests, they were stomping and slamming doors all night long. While that is not the fault of the lodge itself, it made for a very long and difficult night.
