Grand Canyon

Great location for a Grand Canyon visit. An old style hotel with a lot of character. A little worn about the edges but clean and comfortable. A very long walk into town.

An adorable property with old train cars and cabooses, and other interesting vehicles. Close the downtown Williams, but far enough away to avoid any traffic. Stayed with family and we had one caboose and a room in the railcar. The 4 children really enjoyed the spacious grounds and all the unusual thing to see and climb around on.

Should have been a $50 room.

The beds were very worn in and you’d sink into them with no support and was not a pillow top. One wasn’t even level and the box springs were longer than the bed. The bathrooms was by the toilet need to be cleaned. The front door had a small hole in it in which paper was stuffed. The table and chairs were about 20 years old. The pool wasn’t heated. The fridge was not cold which I didn’t find out till three hours after I had my children put the food in it. The walls were super thin as well and the pass through door had decent gap all the way around to the other room. Only had decaf coffee in the room.

From the outside, the property looks fantastic, but the interior is quite disappointing. The rooms definitely need renovation—there are old chairs with stains, a loud noise coming from the fridge, and the toilet wasn’t very clean. Honestly, I’d rather stay at the nearby motel, which is likely cleaner and more modern. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which was a positive aspect of the stay.

We loved this resort. Our only complaint is there is not weather stripping, or anything on the door between the 2 rooms. So we were able to hear the people's TV next to us. Like it was inside our own room.

I liked that I did not hear the train at night. Unfortunately the room did not match the photo, the toilet did not flush properly and there were no instructions how to change the water from the tap to the shower head (It was a very old fashioned setup).

At first glance I wasn’t impressed. But the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, desk staff was sub par, never made me sign a registration agreement and never gave me a receipt. Parking is difficult, 3 rooms side by side and 3 parking spots in front, another guest parked his truck right in the middle. Overall would consider returning if management steps it up a bit and trains desk staff to be a bit more welcoming.
