We absolutely loved our stay at the Historic Grand Canyon Hotel. We stayed in the Innkeeper's Suite. It was perfect for our extended stay. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the convenience of having a kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up!
This was a fun place to stay. I really appreciated the various room choices. Main stream hotels don't have as many options.
We stayed in the Carriage house and it was perfect for our needs.
Beautiful restored Victorian hotel right on the Main Street of town on Route 66. A light buffet breakfast is available and included in the room rate, and served each morning in the lobby. Staff are friendly but only work peak check-in and check-out / breakfast hours. Outside of this guests can check in via the internet to receive their room code which also serves to open hotel doors front and back. There is a small parking lot for hotel guests around the back.
Rooms are small and adequate - just as they were 100 years ago and each has a modern en-suite that has been recently updated. High ceilings and creepy wooden floors - sloped in many places as floors and the building has settled over the century adds character to the place. So beware when you are walking down the hall at a slight angle that its not the result of the 3 martini lunch. Rooms are basic but adequate. Rooms that face the street can be a bit noisy in the early evening with traffic and trains but the window mini AC unit drowns out much of the noise.
Beds, mattresses, sheets and furnishings were all lovely and very comfortable. Bathrooms clean and newly refurbished.
Very historic and beautiful on the inside but that was some meant the room was dated with not enough places to hang your stuff in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful and great continental breakfast
Front desk personnel was super. We had a room in the "carriage house". It was huge! Bathroom was also huge! It was acceptably clean. It is an old building and needs repairs but it has TONS of character. The beds were good. We will return if we stay in Williams again
If you're going to spend a night in Williams, this is a great place top do it. The hotel combines historic character (sloping floors, exposed brick) with modern comfort--and it's right in the middle of town.
Enjoyed the old historic charm, although there was some mold in the bathroom that needs to be dealt with. Also, I didn't know there was a communal microwave/fridge or ice machine until I was there, I would have liked to know this beforehand. But the service was great! Enjoyed how easy and seemless it was. I was impressed how fast the management response time was for questions/comments. Very good service.
This was a very cool historic property. The room was very charming and clean. No tv, but I knew that going in :). It was a bit cramped with trying to shower for two people in the small bathroom, but I suppose that is the price you pay for charming historic!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Historic Landmark, well restored and easy access location. Good customer service, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is not equipped with heating system and it is not place like a counter, table or wardrobe for the belongings in the room and bathroom. Very basic options for breakfast.
Stayed in the cottage building behind main hotel. Nice quaint room. Staff was helpful in providing an extra rollaway bed. Very small bathroom that had door to outside alley 😱 More breakfast items with fresher pastries would be nice....
