No fidos allowed
I booked a room and because of no pets allowed I didn’t even check in. The pet policy was not clearly evident. I can’t understand why some hotels don’t allow pets. Holiday inn express usually allows pets.

Front desk people were good and helpful. Breakfast was good. Now the bad, I don’t think anyone on the cleaning staff ever entered our room during 3 night stay. Lots of coming to our door to see what we needed like towels, cups, coffee, etc. It seems rediculous that at checkout I was given a separate invoice for $7/night for parking.

Like many hotels they are struggling with staffing. That is probably the cause of things like slow checking, empty items at breakfast. It kinda felt like only one person worked there. In different times I would have given this plan a 3, but the staffing crisis is real. On the other hand, charging $7.50 for parking at a mid-grade hotel? In Flagstaff? No excuse for that one.
