Cozy and clean
We had a great room at the lodge. I originally requested second floor, and that’s what we received. The rooms are a little dated, but very clean. And exactly what I expected for a lodge in a park. The room was cozy and clean, with high ceilings and a balcony. The only thing I didn’t like was that coffee wasn’t complimentary. The location was also perfect to the Grand Canyon!

It's inside the park walking distance from the Grand canyon. So for that convenience it's pricey. Think airport prices. But definitely worth paying a little extra for the convenience. They don't really do housekeeping which was the only negative.

I was shocked by the room as it certainly hasn’t been updated in … guessing ten years! There was food in our refrigerator from previous guest, the TV was small and the picture so fuzzy. We stayed early November and paid double the amount as what we paid at Best Western Plus in Bryce Canyon which hotel was night and day to Maswik. Very disappointed with Maswik especially during low season and what we were charged!

Impressive for hotel in National Park
Stayed in newer building and they were very well done - had all the modern items you expect in a hotel room and a very nice kitchenette - had great eco features - not luxurious but impressive room for hotel in a national park - plenty of food options - the pizza pub was great - again not luxurious but very good for a national park
