It’s very convenient. There is a bus stop right in front the lodge. The room is very clean and spacious. Also it’s very close to the trail head.

This is a bit plain and simple but clean and adequate accommodation right inside the Grand Canyon National Park. With a forest view from your bed, the rim is about a 5 min walk from the 2 storied buildings which house the rooms. No lifts but mobility parking and ground floor rooms available. Seated dining and basic grocery items available, and gift shop, in the common areas just a few metres from the rooms. Multiple activities on offer, hiking, bike trails and for $$$, scheduled ranger talks, guided bus tours, and guided walking tours. I dont believe its kind or ethical to ride the poor donkeys down to the floor of the canyon, you could get a helicopter if your budget permits.

This was the nicest room during our trek from San Francisco to Phoenix. Our only complaint was that we didn’t have the option to leave the fan running on the a/c. I was ok with the cooling part kicking off periodically but the room became stuffy without a fan moving air

Nice location for 1 or 2 nights

Visiting the Grand Canyon, we booked this same day upon arrival because we love the Grand Canyon so much and wanted to participate in the star gazing event. This was the perfect location! Close to a huge cafeteria/food court which had many food options! It’s was a quiet room but really showed its age. The beds were kind of lumpy and the room and the bathroom just felt worn out. It felt more like a cabin than a hotel room. It was fine for one night. There is NO pool.

What is there not to like., you walk outside for about 600ft and you are looking at the most amazing picturesque nature can give. Staff is like hand picked for this place, super helpful, friendly, and courteous always willing to stop and answer/help.

Enjoyable stay-Clean & Comfortable

The room was very comfortable and conveniently located inside the National Park which allowed us to be on the trails for sunrise and rest in our room in the hotter parts of the day. Beams on the ceiling gave the room an elevated lodge-feel.
