Not what I expected from Marriott
Not a great experience with the front desk. Gal who checked me in chose to argue about the pet fee which I had received an email two days prior that it was $35 one time plus tax. Even after I showed her on the phone she was snippy. The hot tub was broken. The part never came in and it was never fixed as promised before I left. Judging by the color of the water and tiles it had not been fixed for months. The ice container had the plastic liner still in it from the last guest. When I took it up front to get a new liner and have it cleaned I had to call the front desk twice. It wax 1/4 mile round trip from my room to the desk . No coffee maker in the rooms - who does that. The fob to the side door stuck several times for multiple guests. I had to report that too. For a pet fee- the pet area is across the parking lot - all gravel - no grass. And the restaurant is not on premises. This is good for one overnight stay. It is remodeled . The rooms are vinyl plank flooring so no pet urine smell which was awesome and it was an updated room. Better customer service and coffeemaker in the room would have given it a higher rating. Lower your pet fees and don’t argue with guests.
