The stay never happen
Had to cancel our night stay on 11/18/24 due to a medical emergency with my husband. He was air lifted in Barstow, CA to Palm Springs where is still today 11/19 and will remain until possibly 11/22/24. I reached out to hotel to cancel and they referred me to Hotels.com who I went thru to make the reservation and I was told due to policy they could not refund our cancelled stay. Honestly I had to cancel all of our planned trip and Hotel.com was the only one that would not refund our stay with even a medical emergency.

My wife went down to the lobby around 4am to get some work done (did not want to wake the kids) and the night attendant (refused to give his name) refused to let her sit in the lobby under the excuse that he was “mopping”. He was definitely not mopping and was likely asleep in the room next to the front desk. My wife would have been happy to sit on one end of the lobby while he “mopped” the other end but when she posed this option, he told her to either “go to your room” or go to our “sister hotel” and that she could “walk there” at 4am in the dark. When my wife asked him for his name, he initially just stared blanky at the screen and then told her that he could have her “removed for trespassing or kick us out of room for being difficult”. Needless to say we checked out 2 nights early and found another place to stay at and when I asked the young lady for the night attendants name she also refused to provide me with name and subsequently refused to give me her name as well. We called, texted and emailed the “manager on duty” Mrs. Munoz with ZERO response.

Nice older property well refreshed. Nice comfortable rooms with dog friendly amenities. Accessible while being set back from the freeway. Parking was a bit of a squeeze, recommend you arrive early for a spot.
