We arrived late and I had called previously in the morning to ask for a roll away bed since we would be in late. The lady who answered said she would make sure we had one when we arrived. We arrived late and the staff was rude. The gentleman who answered said it was supposed to be done before night. I tried to explain I did call. He then proceeded to get an attitude but we were able to get one. Other than that it’s a decent hotel check in was easy. Coming in at night it’s kind of hard to find but it’s in a good spot.
The setting is perfect. Close to the Grand Canyon, with convenient shuttle service to the tour areas. The main parking lot and some of the room/cabin parking lots have free EV charging.
HOWEVER, the rooms are not particularly clean, and our room had ants in the bathroom and on the desk near the Keurig. No one in our group was brave enough to use the shower.
Additionally, the restaurant served me the worst meal I've ever been served at a restaurant. It was so bad it was comical. Nothing was good. Texture, temperature, flavor--all wrong. Manage your expectations when you go!
Beautiful lodge in the Grand Canyon. Booked room that allows pets and it came with food bowls and a kennel!!! People and dog loved the room!

What a wonderful experience at Yavapai Lodge. Modern amenities with the flare of nature. Parking is in front of the room. Easy hike to the popular points of the Grand Canyon. Restaurant is close to lodging. General Store is close to lodging. Staff was kind and accommodating.

This is a very nice place; Walking distance to some of the most beautiful views of the grand canyon. The rooms are okay, but we had to move on our first night because we saw some rat droppings. Assuming those animals are common there, we didnt feel too comfortable staying in that room. We called the front desk, and they never came to check or give us some directions as to what to do. We ended up going to the front desk and they finally moved us. I'd stay there again, just because of the convinience of the proximity to the park.
A perfect stay for our one night. Walking distance (1 mile) to the south rim. You can drive to cut the distance. My first trip to the area and it was an amazing experience. I will be going back and will strongly consider this location again. Beds were comfortable.
The facade looked like a well maintained brick lodge and a nice feel of the abundant nature around you. Inside had the nice modern amenities. Air conditioning, TV, Keurig.
My father (84) was able to navigate many areas. He is fully mobile, but does have COPD.
We stayed in Yavapi East and would do so again. No microwave but the place was clean, comfortable, could open windows, had ac. Made our stay at the GC restful.
Check in was fine and the room was very clean and comfortable. However, the drain in the shower wasn't working properly, so the water collected in the tub. We let them know upon check-out, since we showered right before leaving. But it was quiet and comfortable. AC was working properly. I liked that the sink area was separate from the toilet/shower (there was a door in between). Bed was also comfortable. It was reasonably close to the rim and main shopping center/food. It was about a 5 minute drive to the other stuff in the Grand Canyon village.
Staff wasn’t very friendly at the hotel front desk or bus transportation. We had an issue with the TV in our room not working, after spending a lot of time with the tech in our room they could
Not fix it. So they brought us a new one later while we were out but I don’t think they bothered testing it as the remote they left didn’t work for that tv. I called the front desk to let them know and they said there was nothing they could do without even an attempt to come take a look at it. Traveling with a young child this was an amenity we expected to receive. I asked to speak to a manager but was never contacted during our stay or after.
