One of the best options to stay in the Grand Canyon. The room is quiet and cozy, surrounded by stars and forests. You can see deer and squirrels up close. The coffee maker in the room was dirty, but I asked the hotel and they changed it right away.
I highly recommend this lodging area inside the park. It’s clean and plentiful parking right in front of rooms. Bedding was comfortable and clean. The check in center had a restaurant where we had breakfast. The buffet style was cheap, but we opted for buying a la carte breakfast burrito. Reasonable prices and tasted good. The shuttles that run throughout the park was conveniently serving every 10-15 minutes. You really don’t need car to get around.

The proximity to services, the canyon-rim walk, and Mather Point made this a great place to stay.
The room was fine, clean but a little old fashioned and dark where it’s set under the trees. The facilities nearby were

Room was adequate, tv didn’t work some of the time, had to get staff to come and fix. Didn’t get lower room as requested, sounded like a herd of elephants staying above us, very noisy! Inconsiderate guests slamming doors. Staff was always pleasant, though.
Our stay with three very young children was magical. To be able to walk to the rim at sunset and sunrise is unforgettable

Excellent location, the access to the park via the shuttle could not have been easier! Check in and check out staff brilliant, tho our fold out bed for our 7yr old was not delivered until after a reminder at 9pm and was well past its used by date (shout out it was only $12!) Tavern was exceptionally busy, long wait for drinks tho the staff were moving fast. Overall I would stay again and look foward to doing so.
Its glamping here at Yavapai. The convenience of the shuttles is great. The rooms are 1/4 mile walk to main Lodge and Lodge Tavern. All rooms from outside look like old army barracks. Inside is good, clean but bathroom is small and no vanity to put stuff. No bar of soap, just liquid. It works for after a day of sun kicking your butt. The Tavern was boring. No live music. Federal Law means only 1 beer per hour—get the 22 oz beer. No views from Lodge. Just boring. Was good stay though overall just boring.
This lodge is located inside Grand Canyon village and provides the best bang for the buck. The restaurant in the lodge provides very good meals, breakfast buffet and lots choices on dinner. Highly recommended.
In the National Park. Convenient for touring the park. Lots of transportation.Only questionable issue is the food choices. The quality is not great except at expensive restaurants.
Staying within the Grand Canyon park was convenient, safe, and optimal for all the easy hikes and scenic points a family could do within the park. Food options were limited but the grocery store had a hot bar and deli where we got breakfast sandwiches, coffee, pizza, and salads. The Yavapai lodge room we reserved was clean and large enough for 2 adults and a child. Theres a fridge to store drinks but no microwave. Water pressure in the shower was great!
The property is located in the middle of the woods and is divided into several areas. We were in the hotel part and stayed there for 4 nights. The room was clean and spacious and they have the comfiest beds! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. There are also useful amenities (laundrette, general store and a tavern). Although there are buses to get access to the Grand Canyon, renting a car is necessary to access the Village. As a nature lover, it was a very good experience for me
Highly recommended!!
