property is as clean as you can get for being in a national park, where people trek dust and dirt after a long day out walking and hiking in nature. the rooms are okay - the beds seem recently replaced. the bathroom is definitely showing wear and should probably be upgraded at some point. staff are accommodating and super friendly.
Great quality-price room in the Natural reserve. The lodge and the services around are perfect choice for a long stay or just a night while road tripping.
This is a quaint, cute lodge with clean, well maintained rooms. You can't beat the location, with easy access to the shuttle to take you anywhere along the rim of the Grand Canyon. We had the buffet breakfast, and it was a good variety and quantity of food.
We loved our one-night stay at Yavapai Lodge! Great food options and the closeness to the Grand Canyon can’t be beat. The actual room buildings are a bit dated-it kind of felt like staying at summer camp-but the rooms were comfortable enough. Bathrooms could use a major update but since most don’t spend a lot of time in the room, it was just fine.

The property is very convenient to dining and the Grand Canyon which was excellent. The actual rooms smelled pretty bad for the duration. The lodge buildings were built late 50s, so I'm speculating old plumbing to be the reason. The beds were comfortable, but the sheets were scratchy. Overall the room would have gotten good reviews from us, except it really did smell bad.
