How can you go wrong in the Grand Canyon
The checkin process was easy, the location was convenient to the all of the attractions and there were plenty of amenities for food, drink and & groceries.
Of course, when you're staying in a National Park you don't come for the hotel you come to see the park and when you're in the Grand Canyon, if you're not enjoying the view you're missing out.
Yavapai has been around forever and must have been recently upgraded. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate.
My only criticism would be that the floors squeak. If your downstairs you can hear ever step your upstairs neighbor makes. Every step of anyone walking up and down the halls.
Otherwise it was a great stay.
My family and I went with our pet, and the room was equipped with everything that I would need for my pet and family for the two nights I stayed. The beds were comfortable, and the dog crate they had in the room was convenient, as was walking to the area we could go to for our hike and shops. I would definitely stay here again.
There’s no place like the Grand Canyon and the lodges are justly famous but a lttle attention to room amenities would not be amiss: no microwave in room and the beverage maker didn’t work at all - so no coffee in the morning and no tea at night. Other than that the accommodations were adequate and there is no experience quite like driving back to your room at night and almost running into an elk family.
