Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The “bones” of the building we were in (building 4), including the room, were in need of updating. It’s clear that this hotel has undergone some updates recently- the bathroom floor was newer, but air conditioning unit was loud and did little to cool the room, and the the interior hallway of the building we were in, as well as the stairs going up to the 2nd floor, had dated carpets that didn’t smell great and were visibly warn out. The shower never fully warmed up, and we had to bend over in the bathroom to use the sink as it was much lower than a standard sink.
We had breakfast at the tavern in the morning, and the portions were more than generous, fairly priced. The staff, again was very friendly and cleaned up immediately after families left.
We didn’t realize until after we checked in that the hotel didn’t offer WiFi. This was surprising, as most hotels offer this, so we didn't even think to look at this before booking.
Overall, we were disappointed in this hotel. There are many options in the area, don’t feel like the amount we paid to stay here was worth the cost.
