The accommodations were great nicely priced compared to the ones right on the canyon rim. The dining hall was tremendous. The elk meatloaf was to die for. Staff was overly friendly and it was just a great time.
It’s an old hotel. Bedding made us itchy. Bathroom and towels all very old. Extremely dark around the building. We had hard time to find the building at 8pm. Check in experience is sucks. We arrived around 2pm. It’s in a low season and the staff here said she will let us check in now if we are willing to pay $20 extra. It’s just annoying.
I was told I would receive 25% of my payment returned by Expedia as we were very unhappy with the cleanliness of our room (we still have not received it). The bathroom did not appear to be fully cleaned. There was so much dust on the toilet and there was other people's hair in the shower in the drain. It was gross.
Older property but I like the rooms, you are paying for the convenience of being so close to the Grand Canyon. They had tablets to check in and a gentleman made it very easy to do. Asked a few questions about the property and he had the answers.
It is convenient for spending time in the Grand Canyon.

A/C shot into shower and with low water flow at the shower head made for a cold shower. Staff forced me out of the check-in line after waiting ten minutes to a Keios self checkin where I had to wait another ten minutes, then started taking people at the checkin counter line.
