Room was terrible. Had to fight with front desk for a room change until midnight. So much hallway noise we slept maybe an hour. Poor room quality and was no told window faces inside the building. Also air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t sleep with it on and room was very hot. Mattress was clearly broken and no cushion left.

Dirty, everywhwere. Main lobby chairs were sticky. Mainconcourse was gross. Inch of dirt and dust on everything. Waterpark was the same. They should really close for 1 day and clean. Line for breakfast was extremely backed up every morning. The room was the only acceptable part of my stay. This hotel has gone downhill fast

The motel has gone down hill from when it opened up. For the price, it should be a 5 star hotel and it has not had updates in a very long time. Disappointed for the price we paid. If we had not had an event in the Alerus Center which is attached, we would have stayed in a different motel. It is nice to have bars inside of the motel.

The room cleanliness was okay, but right outside of our door was neglected. Garbage on the floor and dirty carpet. The toilet in our room did not work properly and we had to have maintenance fix it. The shower did not work properly, and was barely more than a stream. They need to update the facility. It’s not what is expected for how much the rooms are.

The hotel was great except there was a lot of cold air blowing from the bottom of the climate control unit. We had to set up a barricade to stop the cold air from blowing in the room.

Room was in good condition, front desk lady was helpful. Checked in at 6:30 pm, was told the pool was closing early at 7pm. Went for a walk around the hotel later and there were still people swimming at 7:30. If the pool was closing at 7 the doors should’ve been locked. Not once did we see anyone working the pool area or desk at our stay. As hotel guests the slides and everything else should be available to us. I’m a paying customer and I can’t even get access to all the amenities, not okay. For the price that I payed I don’t feel as if I received my moneys worth.

We had an excellent stay at Canad Inns. The free shuttle to and from the airport is a bonus particularly for those needing to fly out of GFK from outside of town. Rooms are spacious and clean and the free breakfast (not a buffet but a choice of classic or pancakes) was tasty. Would stay here again.
