Coming from the Midwest to Phoenix we stayed in a few hotels on our trip. We paid more for other hotels that weren't as nice and clean as La Quinta in Grand Junction. The hotel, grounds, dining area and our rooms were spotless. We have always used another "chain" but will certainly use La Quinta again.

One of the beds was dirty. Looked like they just remade it with existing sheets from previous people. Tried to call to complain but no one answered the phone. Tried to complain the next day, but no one was at the front desk.

There were two treadmills in the fitness center. Wanted to get a work out in the morning and went in the fitness center. Both treadmills had out of order signs on them.

The highlight of my stay was interacting with the front desk attendant upon arrival. She was very professional and courteous, and she accommodated my request for a room on the 3rd floor. She was very nice and down to earth. I was very disappointed that the hot tub was not open during the visit. It is now the spring break season in Colorado, and there's no reason that the hotel hot tubs should not be clean and operational. Many hotel guests, including myself, base their hotel decisions on the availability of these amenities. The hotels.com website also stated that the rooms were furnished with combination shower/bathtubs, but only showers are installed in this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for my particular trip. Please update this hotel listing on hotels.com to accurately reflect the amenities and the condition of the hotel.

I liked being on the top floor. No noise from above. The beds were average at best. The pillows were below average. Bring your own if you can. The front desk personnel were great. The bathroom was a bit outdated. There was no fan in the bathroom. There were insufficient hooks or places to hang your towels or clothes in the bathroom. The room was nice overall. The breakfast had no fruit or orange juice. It was geared towards the unhealthy eating that we are trying to avoid - sugary cereal, muffins, plain bagels, yoplait sugar filled yogurt, and waffles. What happened to MAHA?

We stayed overnight after flying into Grand Junction. The staff were amazing! We struggled to get an Uber or Lyft from the airport, so called the hotel to see if they had a shuttle service! The front desk clerk dropped everything to come and pick us up late at night. We couldn't have been more impressed! The breakfast and coffee the following morning were perfect. And then another member of staff drove us back via the shuttle again the following morning so we could pick up our rental from the airport. We will definitely be staying at this hotel in the future if we find ourselves flying into Grand Junction. Thank you
