This is the cleanest and most comfortable motel. At check in the manager was very helpful in finding us a room on the ground floor. My husband uses oxygen and can't do stairs. Our room was large, clean and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. There was a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. A nice pool and fire pit for relaxing. Breakfast was good and we had multiple selections. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and what you would expect for an AmericInn. The price I thought was extremely high for what you got. I'm pretty sure it was lower when I booked and was surprised at how much it was when I checked in.

My kids absolutely loved the hotel. Pool, sauna, hot tub - big favorites. Great location on the North Shore. Would absolutely return - planning to return. Room was clean, great size. Not fancy, but all the basics. Super lovely staff.

I booked the place for my fiancée and myself and her dog. I’m multiple places it was advertised as “dog friendly “ including on the page which listed free amenities such as breakfast and the pool. No where on the Expedia listing did it mention an extra fee or that you needed to call ahead (yes even in the fine print, in the policies and the links within links.) Not only did they proceed to charge us an animal fee ($25/night) but they doubled that fee since all they had left were “non animal” rooms. If they would have kept insisting that it was on the website (which it isn’t) and just said “oh ya I see we should get that fixed” it would t have been nearly so irritating.

Hotel is getting a little outdated. Stuff peeling off around toilet and rust in the bathtub. Behind bathroom door was still kind of dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. But the lady at front desk who checked us in and out was super friendly and helpful.

The property was fine considering the age and the staff was wonderful but it was overpriced. The company definitely capitalized on the fact that there are few options for hotels in this area. Even with factoring cost increase for the remoteness it was still too much. Would pay more for a nicer hotel next time.

What a great experience on the Northern Shore. The staff was wonderful, the Smore's kit was an excellent surprise. I loved the community fire pit. The pool and sauna were clean and warm. Great view of the lake!
