Meh!

It was just about bare minimum. Beds were quite uncomfortable. Linens didn’t feel great and they tried to pass a mattress cover as a comforter. Appliances very dated as well as pots/pans/utensils. When we got there, the old dishes were still in the dishwasher and the grill had old food stuck in it. It all felt a little ick. We did have enough towels and the restaurant was good!

Restaurant was not open Monday or Tuesday so no close food. Had to drive 10+ miles to find food. Lobby not open until 8am so no access to anything. No housekeeping offered so room never cleaned. At prices I paid service was very poor. Would never Stay there again

Lutsen Bike Race

Our stay at Caribou Highlands was very enjoyable , Only Issues were , Parking if you are staying in the Hotel part of the building is not reserved, and did wish that Moguls was open for some type of Breakfast!

Great property and very friendly staff. I paid extra for a mountain view room but could only see the trees blocking my view. Carpeting needs cleaning as there’s a musty smell in the main lodge where I stayed. They keep the common areas too warm, a lot of humidity that adds to the mustiness. Maintenance needs to take charge and have a regular cleaning schedule.

More than we expected

Amazing views from our room. Free some more set up so you can have fun by the fire! Giant chess. Bocce ball and cornhole. The most amazing staff ever! Staff from all around the world makes chitchatting so incredibly interesting. Watch the gondolas go up and down the mountain. Beautiful gift shop. Far more than we expected. Absolutely beautiful and we will be back.

Staff was extremely accommodating once we got there. There seems to have been miscommunication before arrival, for arranging things such as gondola passes and shuttle services. “Misplacing the bookings”. Once I expressed my frustration they did seem to get the matter resolved. The shuttle service driver Jacob was absolutely amazing. Was available the second we called, and made our experience amazing! Dealing with 14 bachelorette party ladies was definitely a tall task!Deserves a raise for sure!

The property it self is nice and the staff at the hotel was ok but did not have the best experience with some of the staff at the ski lodge. We were there for a wedding. Went to the ski lodge to get our tickets for the lift to go up to the wedding and the guy behind the counter instead of asking how he can be of a help he asked what’s the problem after we only stated we are here for the wedding. With a bit of a shock that just came out of his mouth I asked we need lift tickets and he just looked at us like what I felt we were speaking some kind of foreign language. After a moment or two he finally handed over the lift tickets. After getting up to the wedding a couple of the staff bar tending were also less then friendly and more worried about having a conversation with themselves. I may consider going back to the resort but I have less then any interest dealing with any of the other stuff or the ski lodge
