Private beach area w/ fire pit
I would have given it a 5 star, but we arrived after 8p, checked-in, rushed back out to get a quick meal because most restaurants closed around 8p, we found a few opened until 9p
Went back to our room to wind down and relax and our door lock mechanism died, nothing worked, we called the after hour number and an assistant got their quickly and tried several keys nothing worked. Clothes and medicine was locked up for the night, within 45 minutes of trying to get access to our room, we were offered the room next door so we could at least shower and sleep, but our fresh clothes were unavailable until 8a the next morning when maintenance changed the batteries so we could get into our room.
The general manager of the property should make sure there is a physical key on the property to take care of a situation like this, if we had health issues an had to take medications during the night and early morning, someone would have needed to call a locksmith
If management would have offered a discount for our trouble, that would been the right thing to do, in my opinion. So that’s the reason they didn’t get a five this time
I will go back again in the future, but I will remind them that this happened, so it is not repeated
