Great location

Great central location in downtown area. We had some minor issues that were resolved quickly. Staff was very responsive and friendly. Room decor was average but the river view was fantastic. Lots of shops in the building so you can purchase anything you might need without having to go outside.

The room was clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shops in the hotel were well stocked with items for browsing and purchasing. Food in the hotel was very good. We stayed during Art Prize. It was very busy in the hotel and the hotels staff was on top of everything!

Perfect central location for walking around the ArtPrize venues. Hotel has a lot of character and fun shops. Amazing views from our tower room. Had a great dinner at the Kitchen.

Will never stay again. Booked and prepaid for a room for two days. Had nothing but issues. Woke up after the first nights stay to find out the tried to run my credit card AGAIN, for the room not only did they run it once it was ran 3 different times and for 3 different amounts. Went to the front desk, was told it was entered in the system wrong since I booked through a 3rd party (Hotels.con/Expedia) and they had the problem taken care of and would not happen again. Check out the following day and check out. Two hours later I get another hit on my card for $300. Called and asked to speak to management to discuss the multiple issues with charges among other issues, only to be told I couldn’t speak to management that they (front desk) would handle my complaint issue which clearly they couldn’t handle it properly because it happened multiple days even after being told it was taken care of. Would not recommend staying, high price room for low quality. Make frequent visits to Grand Rapids and was our first and last visit with Amway.

The person that checked us in was so nice! Room is beautiful and so clean. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. And the room quiet. Great location to fun things downtown.
