I had an4 hour delayed flight and wasn't getting in until 3am. I called the hotel they told me they would be there to let me in. It took a lot stress off the situation. I would ask they give a few more larger towels but the room was clean, warm and grrat view of downtown

Room was a short walk to the Van Andel Arena. Parking in the area is costly (3:30pm to 9:00am = $40). Room had no view out the window - Brick walls on all directions(Left, right and forward) - open at roof. Not a good value for trhe money. The staff were very friendly and helpful (check in, security at night and check out).

We were in for overnight. From check in to check out it was a great experience. The staff was pleasant and helpful, room was incredibly comfortable and very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

This is my go-to hotel for when I’m in Grand Rapids!! We decided to stay another night due to the weather, and the staff was SUPER accommodating…they helped us find an affordable option and gave us the same room we had been staying in. Truly the best ever. So clean, great location, and amazing staff!! Will forever be staying here :))

We had a strange room layout that wasn’t very conducive to two guests. The lighting wasn’t comfortable nor inviting. The room wasn’t as clean as we’re accustomed to at other hotels - the floors were visibly dirty, the one chair had leftover food in it, there were dusty areas throughout the room. There were no options for parking, the parking garage behind is set up for validation but the hotel didn’t offer any - an additional $30 cost per night. With many other options to stay in the immediate vicinity, I can’t recommend CityFlats to anyone.

Great stay despite a couple issues
Hotel is close to everything downtown. Had a slight issue attempting to check in because no one was at the front desk or answered the phone. Waited almost 30 minutes. Two long hairs were found in the bed and neither myself nor my spouse have long dark hair. Also the lighting is very tricky inside the room. Took us a while to get lamps/rooms lit as needed.

Didn’t get what we booked
We booked a queen bed but got a double. It was just the one night so I didn’t fight it. When we went to check out in the morning there was no one at the front desk. We waited for 5 minutes then just left the key cards and left.

Great location downtown
Great location right downtown. My room was smaller but very modern and well laid out. The property is in great shape. Overnight parking is available in a deck that is right around the corner. I'd stay here again next time I'm in GR.
