I have stayed at this hotel before. It’s easy to get to the highway for shopping and going out to eat. Check-in , I wasn’t happy with. I walked in to check-in and 2 employees were at the desk, they didn’t even acknowledge me. They walked away and came back a few minutes later to help me. I picked this hotel to be able to use the pool, which wasn’t available. 🙁. The door to our room kept sticking, had to wear shoes in the room because the carpet felt dirty and lastly the remote to the TV only worked if you stood right in front of the TV. Not sure if I would pick this hotel again.

Great hotel and helpful staff. Room details are a bit worn but the refresh of furnishing keeps all in good condition. Good water pressure on floor 2 and beds are good if you like a firmer surface. Within 5 minutes of some great restaurants by car, like Anna's House (Grandville location)

The hotel was really nice. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and the continental breakfast had a variety of hot and cold options. The only issue I had was that the pool is not open right now (staff said it was for renovations). This was not disclosed to me until I asked about the hours that it was open/available to use. The primary reason I booked this particular hotel was because of the pool. That was a bummer, but other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I ever visit Grand Rapids again, I will be staying here!

When checking the mattress, the mattress protector cover was stained terribly in several places. There was some spots on the carpet that were worn all the way through and other spots that were stained. There were spots on the carpet that when walked across barefoot were crusty. The remote for the television did not work we could not watch television. When I went to take a shower and I open the shower curtain a dirty washcloth fell out of the shower curtain onto the floor it had been there long enough to dry stiff and had somebody else's hair still on it. There was an additional $100 incidental charge to the credit card and then released after our stay for that was not said prior to making reservations it came as a surprise.

Toilets wouldn’t flush. AC freezes out the bed closest to the window in each room. Fridges don’t work well. Showers are basically baths as they don’t drain properly.
