This place is so nasty and so dirty .very false advertisement as well .the rooms are nasty and they have stains on the sheets and blankets. The walls are gross and the floors. There was so much trash behind the stand we had next to the bed. There was like nothing stocked in the room. None of the phones even worked to be able to call down stairs. The heat when you even turned it on stunk so bad. Very false advertisement about saying they had a hot tub. They have water spickets all over by the pool where someone can trip and get hurt. The money machine for the games was broke and 2 of the games didn't even work. TV didn't really work in one of the rooms at all. Took pic of the remote.The staff act like they have no clue what they are doing and you can't understand anything they're saying at all. They say they have nothing to do with it Truly the most worst experience I have ever had. Breakfast was slim to none. Just truly a very nasty place to be. Never will go here again for sure. Not worth the money at all. Took lots of pics bc I seen a lot of people saying they keep the deposits. The phones don't even work in the room and we just woke up with a fire alarm. The phone number won't even work from the website. The man who called me back said he has been getting calls but he isn't even affiliated with the hotel at all. Edit. And now we get woke up at 3 am for a fire alarm going off and I have an autistic child and it scared him and the rest of my 4 kids. Just awful

I wish I could give negative stars that’s how impressed I was with this hotel. We were charged extra after checkout, no pool or hot tub like they claimed, broken elevators, police out front, people getting arrested for harassment. If you don’t mind staying in the most ghetto part of Grand Rapids, this is for you. Holes in the bathroom doors and shower ceiling, finger prints on head board, dirty bathroom mirror. Doors are loud. Refused to refund for cutting out a day early too.

The property was dirty, broken glass in the parking lot, was told our room was double booked after we got back from going out for dinner after we had checked in, was reassigned 2 different rooms because another rooms door lock didn’t work, had to request a pool access card which was NEVER offered or discussed at check in, hallways had food scattered everywhere, everything smelled of smoke, room was dirty with stains on walls, bedding and furniture, shower was disgusting, A/C didn’t work, and hairdryer didn’t work.

Room was clean, but rest of hotel is old and in poor repair. Tub fills with water while showering. room had no furniture except bed. Pool was gloudy and pool floor smells like mold. More people/ families live there and it shows! I wont be back unfortunately

Great stay for the price

I chose this hotel because it advertised as being pet-friendly. 24 hours before check-in, I received an automated text saying no pets allowed subject to $250 fee. It's my fault for not calling the hotel to confirm, but upon arrival I found pets were allowed for $25/day. I wish my pup didn't have to miss out on our little family staycation! Also, the automated message said check-in was at 4pm. Check-in is at 3pm, as confirmed by the wonderful hotel staff. The hot tub is permanently out of service, but the pool was heated. It's old, but my son loved splashing around. Ideal for younger children. Our fridge and phone were broken in the room, but otherwise we were comfortable and staff were accommodating and kind.

Was not the cleanest. Both the carpet and not carpet floors were so sticky and dirty. They definitely tried to "fix it up" but needs a bit more. The website also said that it had a hot tub, which my husband was expecting and looking forward to because he had been issues, was noon existent. We were pretty disappointed. Not much of a breakfast either. No hot food and very little otherwise.

Don’t stay here

The staff was very friendly but my room was gross and they didn’t wipe anything down. When I arrived I had to wait 30 minutes for them to clean my room and it looked like they just mopped it. I didn’t even want to take a shower because there was mold and a big hole in that was patched poorly. I got a balcony room and the outside was disgusting. A huge blanket was left out there and trash everywhere. There was so many stains on the carpet. My sliding door was unlocked and I was glad I checked that when I arrived. I didn’t feel comfortable in my room and felt like everything was dirty

The shower nozzle broke off and water sprayed everywhere like a fire hydrant, booked a double room and it was still occupied, we changed room 3 times power went out in the room and staff didn't want to accommodate our 4 move and finally after some time agreed cops harassed us while sitting in the parking lot smoking a cigarette horrible place

This hotel is full of homeless people. The property is clean and beds comfortable. The other guests whether homeless or long term construction workers are no issue. Front desk staff was very friendly as was the housekeeping staff.

Hotel check-in was at 3pm. I arrived at 6:15, room wasn’t ready yet. They told me it’d be ready in 20 minutes. Went to the room 20 minutes later & it still wasn’t ready. This place is trash!!!! It’s dirty, all the garbages are over flowing. I would’ve rather paid more somewhere else.

This place was beyond disgusting and disturbing! It was straight-up unfit for any kind of stay. The floors were sticky everywhere—the elevator, the halls, the bathroom, even the room itself. There was mold covering the bathroom ceiling, blood stains on the walls, and standing water in the tub that wouldn't drain. The toilet had god-knows-what smeared on it, and there was dried puke still next to the bed. The sheets and mattress had random debris and stains, and we had to take off the nasty mattress protector and lay the sheets down ourselves just to have something remotely clean to sleep on. The bedding had cigarette burns, the entire second floor reeked of smoke, and our key stopped working three times. The first room they gave us wasn’t even accessible—we couldn’t open the door. And good luck finding staff... it was like a ghost town. I paid $145 to sleep in a biohazard that felt like a breeding ground for hepatitis. Absolutely unacceptable, completely unsanitary, and honestly, a little traumatizing.

Where to begin. Black wall around electric outlet no cover around one outlet. Bath tub was disgistingly dirty. Hair between mattress pad and sheet Empty water bottle at top of bed between matress and headboard. Should have seen it when/if sheets were changed. Disgusting!!! Didnt sleep well. Wouldn't shower and I better not get bedbugs or crabs!

I got my room on hotel.com, when I got there they wanted a deposit and wouldn't give me my keys. I had no extra money to stay what a scam. I filled out the pre checkin the night before, they should have been clear they wanted more money. Worst experience ever.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years. We have watched to go from a very nice place down to a despicable disgusting place and now being brought back to a nicer facility. Definitely not a five-star hotel as it lodges a lot of weekly residents who have the place smelling like smoke all the time. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was extremely clean however when we pulled the linens back there were knife stabs all through the entire mattress and there was dried flowersl petals underneath the sheet as if they would have been left from Valentine's Day. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk staff they seemed very indifferent as if they didn't care about how we were disgusted knowing that we had laid on used sheets. The rate was more than fair and because of that you get what you pay for.
