I stay in the GR area about twice a month and I have my usual spots however, they were all filled so I was forced to look elsewhere. I don't like to pay an arm and leg for a good nights sleep but I also don't like run down places without amenities to choose from. I came across this Hotel and after reading some reviews and looking at the photos I decided to give it a try (I'll try anything once). I am so glad that I did. It was a great stay and not expensive. I was greeted with a smile and the hotel is full of amenities. I had never heard of this chain before so I was very skeptical but I will now look at this hotel as one of my options when I am staying in the Grand Rapids area. I was very pleased with my stay.

Overall great stay, mostly clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be our room was above the laundry room and their washers and dryers were not quiet and going well past 10pm. Note for future visitors their water slide is permanently closed according to their signs. During our visit the hot tub was closed and was told unsure of when it would be running again.

I pick the hotel because that had breakfast that would be made and indoor pool and spa for my 2 days well the cook called in so no breakfast for me and I was a late arrival from the airport the night before and the pump on the spa needed to be replaced so it was closed down

Nice place-control pool noise after closing time

Facility was nice, the only issue is having staff close the pool at the posted time. I lot of yelling and screaming at pool area up until 10:45pm when pool closed at 10:00pm.

I was given a first floor room. The carpet was worn to the point that it no longer had pattern in the high traffic areas. There was mold on the ceiling above the shower. The shower door wouldn't stay shut. The only electric outlet in the bathroom didn't work. If you set the thermostat on the in-room heater to more than 65 degrees, it just kept running and would make the room very hot. The finish on the faux leather desk chair was peeling off and exposing the padding underneath. I cannot speak for other rooms, but this one certainly needs attention. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable.
