I booked and paid for a room in full because my flights were delayed. I arrived at the hotel after midnight. The woman working the front desk refused to check me in because I didn’t have a card they could use for a hold of $25 for incidentals. So even though I paid $160 for the room, they refused to check me in over $25, and I arrived after midnight. I will not stay there again. They are now dragging their feet on giving me a refund. There doesn’t ever seem to be anyone available to approve the refund when Expedia calls them. I’d recommend staying at the hotel next door-don’t give Holiday Inn Express GRR airport.
