We had a week long stay. And had high expectations because of the classic commercials. However the experience was actually pretty standard with no real wow factor to set it apart from other hotels in the area. House keeping was scheduled kinda early so we always missed it. Laundry was coin operated which was made more inconvenient with the Staffs inability to make change. Luckily the gas station next door was able to assist with this but its odd that we had to keep running next door to get quarters. Overall it's comparable to other hotels in the area but a bit more expensive.

My flight was cancelled and I was stuck in Grand Rapids overnight, so I booked here last minute. The property is well-maintained and has a decent breakfast in the morning. It is very close to the airport, which is convenient. I appreciated having access to the small gym facility. However, I was on the second floor and my room did not have blackout curtains (they were a sheer, white curtain). It meant I could see out and others could see in. I also was next to the parking lot which had bright light shining into my room all night due to the translucent curtains. I also requested a shuttle when checking out and had to wait about 25 minutes without it showing up. They said it might show up another 10 minutes later after that waiting. The airport is a 7-minute drive away. I ended up calling an Uber so that I didn't miss my flight.

I left my nightgown in my hairbrush by accident in the room. I realized it four hours later I called the front desk. They informed me that they could not get into the lost and found because the person was not there. I called again the next day The informed me that they were gonna Give me a call as soon as they founded all to make matters simple it was never found I know for a fact, I left it there. Let’s call it lost and lost no integrity.
