I generally don’t write reviews for hotels but felt compelled to do so after staying here. When we checked into the hotel, we found that the pool was out of order and my kids were bummed because of it. Which was one of the main reasons why we booked in the first place. The other mishap was that the hot water heater broke in the morning and we were unable to take a hot shower. I understand these things can happen, but it was wildly inconvenient and unacceptable for a hotel stay.

On my second day, my room had no heat. The front desk said I could have another room, it was 11:30pm. I was exhausted. The room was so far down the hall, only to be put in a room across from a loud domestic dispute and a loud group in the adjoining room to mine. I asked for another room(it is now 12:30am) it was on the second floor, I just needed to sleep at this point. The room had weird black stains on the carpet which was very concerning. After all this, I decided to just stay in the room if they gave me an extra blanket that was offered. It never arrived. After they checked it the next day, they concluded the heater was indeed broken and gave me another room. The following day, I came back to the room and when I opened the door I was welcomed with a strong smell of what smelt like a skunk. Since I couldn't open the windows, it was very unpleasant. When I went into the washroom, I realized it was coming from there and it was marijuana. I could the front desk, and they said they would have someone check the floor. I never heard back from them. The following day, it smelt normal again, and thought maybe I was incorrect, only to be welcomed by the smell again at around 7-8pm and it smelt the whole room. I called them right away and was told that they can give me, yet again, another room because they are unable to enter another quest room. I asked if they don't have a no smoking policy, they said yes. I offered for them to enter my room so they could smell it for themselves.
