Affordable stay for a Kansas State football game. Doesn’t require a two night minimum. The rooms are clean.

Just what we needed
Needed a place to stay after a late football game. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is an older hotel (built in 1964), but it was perfect for what we were needing/wanting. We have stayed here before and the owners are very nice. There is a refrigerator and small microwave in the room, but no blow dryer. I now know that, so I bring one. There are not a lot of "extras", but it is a clean comfortable place to sleep and get cleaned up at a reasonable price. We plan on staying again.

Smokers delight!
The first time I had ever accidentally booked a smoking room, didn't even know they still offered them. The room was at the backside of the hotel, there was no parking so took a long hike to get there. Opened the door that had a no smoking sign to be overwhelmed by the cigarette smell. After walking in I saw the ashtray on the nightstand. Had to hike back to the office to request a non-smoking room, was told that was a more expensive room, but he would give it to me at the same price. Room number 2 was also a smoking room but it was sprayed with potpourri spray to cover the cigarette smell. The room was dirty, the couple in the room next door fought all night. Left the next morning with a headache, everything in my suitcase smelled of cigarettes, and very little sleep. Will not return!

very basic hotel, was good for what we needed because we only need someplace to sleep and shower, not a luxury type hotel, but did the job and was quite and we always felt safe, Price was also right for the accommodations. Not much other stuff around in the area to do, just a good basic hotel room. Nice owner.

The room had a horrible odor of stale cigarette smoke. It was so strong that we couldn’t even handle staying a second night as planned so we drove home after our event.
