Clean. Friendly staff. Dated. Not much space in the bath area to put our stuff. Or counter in the bed area to lay out our things.That was our only negative & that being personal preference. Otherwise it was a nice place for the price.

Beds matter

Reserved a king bed but upon entry, the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Was quickly reassigned a new room, but could only get a two-queen room. I have stayed here a half-dozen times, always with a king bed which was firm and comfortable. The queen beds were too soft. If you go here and need a firm bed, go for a king room.

It was good. But, card keys didnt work well on the door by handicapp parking. Had to use both cards several times. Upstairs ice machine not working so more stairs. Breakfast room is a bit cramped at to pass on the breakfast.

Beautiful, immaculate, and very cozy and comfortable place to stay. This would be my top choice in the whole area of Roscommon County. Staff was wonderful, welcoming, and very professional. I would recommend American Inn to anyone and everyone.
