The hotel is in the middle of nowhere with only a convenience store and an Arby's nearby. The hotel is outdated. The mattress had been long past its usefulness. I woke up at 2am with a back ache. I'd avoid this place.

We have stayed there everyday summer for a few years now. Find it very convenient. Staff is always nice. Rooms kept clean. Food good. Bed was a little firm for my taste but it was okay. Will return next year.

Be advised that you are offered a "Continental Breakfast", which is limited to bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. and the usual refreshments. You won't get freshly cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns or freshly baked waffles. If you're a big breakfast eater, go elsewhere. The toilet could use the noiseless (slow closing) seat and cover. It would also be more comfortable if it was taller. It's very low to the floor.

Cleanliness, location, pet friendly (no issues $25.00 per night extra.10 minutes from North Higgens State Park were we had a wedding. Didnt get to use the pool or hottub, but the pool area looked clean

Enjoyed the out of way area with the truck stop right there for our semi within walking. We had the backside of the building and there were bird feeders that attracted birds,squirrels and bunnies, loved it!!

Our room smelled so bad from someone smoking in it. Told the girl at the front desk and she said sorry people do that and there's no way to stop it. She didn't offer another room or even air freshener. There was no clock, microwave, coffee pot, or even a chair. There was a reading lamp in the corner but no chair.
