The staff was very friendly and helpful. I made a wrong booking, I thought I booked 3 nights but it were actually 2. They tried to contact me when I was to check out, but I didn't arrive till late in the evening. They told they were worried something happened to me. The cleaning staff collected all my goods and folded all my clothes and packed them neatly. I appreciate their help and hospitality very much. Such kind people.
the hotel is next to a busy road, the bedding is basic and hot which impacts on sleep. the bathroom in our room needs updating. otherwise: friendly staff, good cleaning, spacious.
Nice hotel close to the train station. The room is not very clean, bad smell in the shower room.

Value for money hotel
Centro Hotel Strasser is a ideal place to stay for a short weekend stopover such as mine. Although near to the railway station it was very quiet in the evening. The rooms are not overly big but everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were all extremely polite and helpful. Overall it was good valve for money.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Room was spacious and decent. Parking easy, could walk to eat. Okay for the price
Graz was just a stopover in a roadtrip around Europe, we were traveling from Vienna to Venice and it was a good midway stop. What a gem of a place! The old town is beautiful and there was a great atmosphere with the European foot volleyball competition taking place in the square. Lots of restaurant and interesting things to see. The hotel was just a short walk from all of this and close to the railway station.
It was quiet and the staff were friendly and welcoming, our room was comfortable and clean.
Graz is definitely worth a visit and this is a good hotel to use as a base.
I stayed in this hotel in a room on the first floor for five nights. The WiFi internet on the first floor was broken in day 1. But it was ok on other floors. I asked for changing the room immediate ly. The staff refused and told me tomorrow will be ok. I asked again and again in the following days and the staff always said the hotel is full and cannot change the room. So I stayed there without Internet for 5 days. Besides, the room faces the street. The traffic noisy is huge. Very hard to sleep and awake up early in the morning.
Overnighting on way to Croatia and booked enroute as this hotel was only one with available room. Somewhat overpriced I feel given the condition and size of room (especially the bathroom). Impresive hotel reception, bar, breakfast area and first floor, but the theme does not continue. When we arrived late evening we waited quite a while for reception to be manned and again when leaving.
Everything about this hotel was good location, amenities, comfort, cleanliness and the staff was very accommodating. Unfortunately we happened to stay on a night when the WiFi was down which was a minus for us. However there was a WiFi repair man working on it when we checked. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.
Good:)
Room was nice but small. Floor could have been cleaned better and air conditioning would have helped. We had a balcony room so we were able to cool the room down at night with the door open. Staff were nice and location was good for transit
This was the second time I stayed in this hotel because I really like it. The staff are nice, and the hotel is decorated VERY artful that it is like an art museum, the room is clean and comfortable, and the location is great as it is only 4 minutes walking from the Graz train station. I am thankful for such a nice hotel. I travel a lot, this hotel is my favorite one. I will stay there again when I visit Graz next time.
Hotel was modernized and very nice. No AC which was tough on the hot night. With the windows opened it was quite noisy with the street traffic
Good breakfast for a reasonable price.
