This was one of the best motels I've stayed in. Normally motels are older and musty. This was very bright, no smell. White bathroom was very clean. Comfortable bed. It's set a little back on the main road. Because it was cool, we turned off the AC and opened the rear window. It was quiet. Check in/out was easy. Reasonable for the area. Highly recommend.

Modest, but Friendly Spot

A very modest, but very friendly and centrally located small motel near good hikes, and all the area's sights and shopping. Just five minutes from the charming Great Barrington main street and 10 minutes from the historic Stockbridge area. We stayed a night to see a show at Tanglewood (also very close) and would recommend this spot for anyone needing a night or two in town. Quiet for a restful sleep, but close to a lot to do.

A great place to stay!

We always stay at Monument Mountain when we’re in the area. The rooms are immaculately clean, the hosts very friendly and helpful, the location perfect.

GB overnighter

We had an overnight in Great Barrington and this place was just right. Good value, super nice owners, location was excellent and the hotel was clean and updated. It is your classic, one story road side hotel and they have spruced it up nicely. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean but dated property. It was fine for what I needed: a place to stay for the night. Minimal toiletries were provided: two bars of soap and two small containers of conditioning shampoo, one of which was obviously used (half empty and cap not screwed on properly). No body wash, no lotion. There were some holes in my blanket. The room was clean and the grounds nice and peaceful, and the check-in/out process was easy, but the property would benefit from some updates.

Sparking Clean, Best Value in GB!

We love this place and have stayed here many times. No frills, clean room with a mini fridge, TV and nice shower. Though it’s near the road, once inside the room it’s quiet and cozy. The staff members are so friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back!

Never disappointed with this place. Its a classic roadside motel. A little bit dated in some respects but has always been clean, very affordable and with an excellent location. Great for exploring the Berkshires, NY state and northern CT. A nice family-run operation. The only place I stay in southern Berkshire County.
