unfortunately false advertising based on photos. the place was under construction. there was no lobby or bar as photos showed. only plastic scaffolding as you entered. The location was great but I was disappointed as I entered.

The hotel lobby was under renovation, no furniture & very dusty. During our 3 night stay, there frequently wasnt a hotel employee to be found. We called from our room for assistance one evening and no one answered the phone. Our private terrace wasn't private as another guest room window was there.

The room was fine but there was a pool under the ac unit and both the sink and tub faucet were running the entire stay. We notified staff on two occasions and they assured us it would be looked at and it never was.

I’m not sure why the ratings were so low. This place is across the street from great neck lirr train station. Less than 15 minutes from some of the most elegant restaurants in Roslyn. It was super quiet, clean and a breeze getting to where I needed to go. And they’re renovating! Will keep on my list!

Our stay at the Andrew was perfect. Our flight was cancelled at the last minute, so we were scrambling to find a dog friendly hotel. It was a 25-30 minute drive from JFK but it was well worth it. The staff was incredibly accommodating and extremely kind. The neighborhood was great for walking our dogs, several parks and quiet quaint streets nearby. Plenty of dining options as well. Would happily stay here again!

Room was clean. Beds very comfortable. Laminate flooring instead of carpeting. Staff was accommodating to open door when wanting access to break room for microwave use. No fridge or microwave in room. Facility currently under construction for modernization (older building). Very limited parking. Only 4 free parking spaces otherwise $16 daily for the remaining few.
