This property was great. The family side was great for kids. They had a kids club and water park. The buffet was the best dining option I would say. Didn’t try any other besides Jamrock which was good. The days we were there it was not to many guest but I couldn’t imagine if it was full. Lots of rooms but limited beach space. I feel the adult side had more options especially with dining. We had a swim out suite which was awesome because we could swim at anytime. Would definitely go back but probably without the kids. It’s also like an hour away from MBJ airport if you fly in to there.

A Truly Exceptional Family Getaway at Princess Resort Jamaica! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently stayed at Princess Resort Jamaica with my family and my mother, and we had an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The entire resort was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority, and it added so much to our comfort. The dining options were fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious meals that satisfied everyone in our group, including picky eaters! What truly stood out was the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered—from the front desk to the restaurant servers and housekeeping—was friendly, helpful, and kind, always going out of their way to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. And let’s not forget the drinks—they were top-notch, refreshing, and served with a smile. Whether by the pool or at the bar, we were always taken care of. We created beautiful memories together, and I am already looking forward to returning. This resort has easily become one of our favorite destinations. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking to relax and be treated with care and kindness. Thank you, Princess Resort Jamaica, for such a wonderful and magical experience!

Had a great stay, really enjoyed the food options especially dinner by the Mexican restaurant and also the sports bar. I will say the rooms are a tad small when compared to other hotels I've been to at a similar rate. The major detractor from me however would be the check in process, staff was really slow and seemed to forget about me at some point. All in all a good hotel solid 4/5

We loved the resort! Very very kind staff and very clean and comfortable. The only things they things they should improve on are the buffet food was cold at breakfast. Even though the food sat on red warmer pads the food was very cold unless you got a hot omelette made to order. The second is we were super excited to eat in the Italian Restaurant this past Saturday night and were told they ran out of desserts after we ordered some. This was disappointing we really were excited about having dessert. The coffee chop had run out of most flavors of ice cream and chocolate mini cakes too. We tried to go there, it didn't look good for dessert for us Saturday night. We went on a scuba, 7 mile beach and cave swim excursion. We were told it would be 5 hours of fun! We find out we had to stop at 2 other locations and then bring them back of course. This took up much time on the boat and we only had 15 min to swim in the cave, 1 hour to eat at The Famous Rick's Cafe and only 30 min at 7 mile beach. We wanted to spend time there because there is much to do! We were not able to do anything at 7 mile beach due to timing. We just got off the boat and let our kids play in the water. Then back to the resort. It is a very large resort! We would visit again they just need to work some kinks out. All of the team there were very kind and accommodating.

The hotel property is in great condition. There's a lot to do for both kids and adults. The waterpark is a true functional park that kids and adults enjoy for the entire time, it is well kept and amusing. Breakfast was impeccable! The selection includes continental items, authentic Jamaican dishes, and ofcourse international delights. The staff was very polite and cordial, our bellman Raneil was a joy to encounter. Feedback...1. Towels and robes should be present in the rooms upon arrival. We had to call several times for towels and waited for a long time before they arrived, even after my husband made a trip to the front desk. The number of towels given should match the occupancy of the room. 2. I expected the app to be more user-friendly and personalized including the ability to request items and 3. Times for facilities should be posted on the app, I didn't realize that the waterpark was only opened from 10:30-5. Would I recommend this property to other families? Definitely. It has so much to offer! Keeps the kids occupied, good food, drinks flowing-and they were not watered down at all, quality coffee adn pastries at the 24hr cafe, top of the line fully equipped gym, sports bar, and arcade, just to name a few, are all things that make this hotel great.

Everyone here was amazing. Rooms and restaurants are fabulous. Only draw backs are how large the property is and how far you have to walk and that dinner ends at 9:30. MVP Bar was the only place where the service was subpar. Not enough bartenders and servers.

Property overall I give it a 8/10. Food was decent. $15 charge for Room service if you don’t have the platinum package. Housekeeping horrible/had to keep calling for towels which takes about an hour to receive. Didn’t receive out platinum perks until our 3rd day, Was only there for 5, go figure. Gift shop a rip off)pringles $13/ m&m’s $6( reg sizes too)they did a good job with keeping refrigerator stocked daily! Men workers are thee most friendliest, women not so much. Would I return, yes. Brand new property they just have to work the kinks out!

The staff were outstanding! Very helpful and always willing to assist in any way possible. A special shoutout to Kerrefia, who, despite working on the adults-only side and our stay was on the family side, went out of her way to help and truly enhanced our stay. The rooms and the property were clean and well maintained. While the food at the restaurants could use some improvement, the decor and ambiance were top-notch. Overall, the hotel offers something for everyone, and I would definitely recommend it. We had a fantastic stay!

Lovely place and pretty new but I would not say it’s a 5 star hotel. The staff are lovely but the clientele leaves a lot to be desired. I have stayed at Half Moon at previous visits and this certainly is no Half Moon. More geared for blue collar workers who want to feel they’re saved up to stay somewhere posh. It is also very noisy. At the bar pool you hear very loud music hitting you from 3 directions- all playing different songs! We found most other guests to be rowdy and inconsiderate. Screaming and talking loud at all hours of the night. It’s not a place I would go back to.
