Enjoyed our stay.
Asked for more towels and they were given. Will use this hotel again if needed in this area. My granddaughter will be attending Lander College so we may go up and stay a weekend to get to see her. Breakfast could be a little better.

I stayed at two different Baymounts during this trip. Neither had electricity but the other figured out how to let me lock and unlock the doors, while you couldn't. You also couldn't figure how to charge me by credit card, so you insisted on cash. On top of that you demanded a $50 deposit for a room I could barely use. Your service was awful.

I stayed there because I wanted to swim in the pool. The pool had a gate around it and it was locked. It was 90° outside. We'll find a place with a pool that's open next time.

Want to recognize this property Baymont by Wyndham in Greenwood SC. The property was older but very clean. The staff was great. Marvalene in the breakfast room was fantastic. She made our stay even better. I hope Wydam appreciates what it means to have great staff members. Prices were fair. Room was clean A/C needed a long over due tune up the temp said one thing however the room temp did not reflect the number the unit said. Plenty of restaurants near by. The lady at the front desk was nice and very helpful! The hotel itself looked nice and was set back from the road so we heard no road noise and after 9 or 10 the hotel was very quiet. The biggest problem was the smell in the room. it was terrible. it smelled like years of BO or smoking and air freshener to cover it up. Even after we left, my husband's CPAP machine tubing had that smell in it. If we weren't so tired we would have gone elsewhere just because of the smell. The bathroom also needed rehabbing - you could see where the condensation on the walls in the bathroom dripped down and looked like streaked paint. The bathrub was stained and they tried to clean it but i was afraid of getting athlete's foot by stepping on the floor of the bathtub. I would NOT stay there again unless the rooms were rehabbed - the carpet needs to be replaced - maybe that would reduce the smell - i don't know but it was awful!
