We have been staying at this hotel off and on for the last 30 years. The new owners have really destroyed its original charm. They updated all of the rooms so there is nothing special about them anymore. The room is like they could be at a Hampton Inn now. The property is not as well kept and common furnishings have been downgraded. It’s a shame. We won’t be staying there again.

The staff was great; very accommodating. The room was nice. The bathrooms need upgrading but it’s sufficed for the length of stay. The restaurant food is very tasty.

It was nice and I would stay again
It was a nice stay in an older remodeled hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. It still needs some work and repair, our air conditioning worked the first night and the second night it struggled to keep the room cool, the lighting was broke and around the the bed. The beds were comfortable and the room and hotel was clean. I was concerned at check in because the front desk area was very cluttered and messy but again clean. So overall I would stay there again just needs some more work on the maintenance side.

I do not like being charged if you check in before 3:00. If a room is ready you should be able to check in. You have to ask for extra towels. A nice hotel usually has extra towels for 2 people. The hotel was a very clean, older hotel but I would stay here again.

Excellent customer service from great staff. Charming hotel. Clean room. Good location for visits in Greenwood or historic Ninety Six, SC. Enjoyed the lounge. Will return if visiting the area again.
