Room needs total revamp

Room was horrible carpet well worn looks like it was last decorated in the 80's. Went to do a coffee in morning cups was stuck to tray and mucky round the rims so passed on that as for bed that was comfty but found a toe nail in it. Windows was shocking didn't know opened or not, so hot through our stay and one socket struggled getting kettle pluged in.

Only stayed one night found the hotel was a little tired in appearance. Unfortunately our room was above a thoroughfare in the precinct so was a little noisy. The staff from reception to Bar and Restaurant and cleaning crew where all very good happy and smiley. Quite a pleasant visit. If in Grimsby again will definitely use this Hotel

Needs new windows and carpets. You don't need carpets in the eating area. Carpets clean but stained - you need 80:20 wool carpets. Room nice, clean and spacious.

No complaints about the hotel or the staff but the surrounding area is like a warzone populated by drug addicts and drunks fighting and arguing all night. Couldn't close the window to block out the noise so had a really bad sleep both nights.
