Although the service was brilliant, the rooms are outdated with mould in showers, white mould on desk, maybe another room would have been better. WiFi was brilliant too, bedding changed daily overall a nice stay. The mattress was a tad hard
Parking was secure and free, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious tea and coffee making well stocked. Room had a nice view of the minster, weather was cold but the room was well heated. For what we paid for the room it was definitely value for money. Breakfast was buffet and again great value for what we paid, the receptionist gave us a money off voucher on check in as we did not put it on our reservation. Hotel is in a good location for shops and bars and a short taxi ride to the docks area.
Plentiful free Parking outside of the rear main doors, change in circumstances meant arriving a day late but no problem at check in, only issues would be no plug sockets by the beds and the ones available were too close to surfaces which meant hard to use due to leads on chargers and dryers etc, check out at 11am yet really loud awful and annoying organ music and singing from 9.30 am meant no chance of a sleep in.
Staff were lovely and polite the hotel it’s self in major need of repair and bringing up to date. Luckily it had clean comfortable beds. Bathroom was very small also need of updating.
Great service on reception quick check in everything you need for a quick trip away 😁 central hotel in the middle of town perfect

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Cheap rooms which are great for just sleeping in, the staff are very friendly and it has great facilities on site. The only downside is the place is very dated and in dire need of an uplift, as i say though the room price is cheap most likely due to this. Although dated it is kept extremely clean and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
