Although clean, this is a very dated hotel with very sparse rooms that are barely decorated with aging bathrooms and showers that barely emit water.

TRY CALLING THE HOTEL TO SET UP TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORT TO HOTEL BUT COULD NOT GET THRU SO INSTEAD I SEND 3 EMAILS AND THE WENT UNANSWER AND COST ME 120.00 FROM AIRPORT AND 90.00 FROM HOTEL BACK TO AIRPORT.

Outstanding

St. Lucia is beautiful because of its people. The stay at Bay Gardens we pleasant. The food and accommodation were excellent. I would recommend staying here.

The property is very old and has not been renovated in a very long time. The hotel food was terrible, we couldn’t even breakfast there. The food options are very limited and unappealing. The pool is small and only 4 ft deep so not great for adults The staff was nice and the bartenders made great cocktails. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner and night clubs for entertainment

I booked the Bay gardens Hotel, then when i arived I was sent to the Bay Garden Inn. I booked a king sized bed and instead ended up with a smaller bed. The room I booked was $30USD per night more expensive than the one I was given. Really disapointing.

Security was always around, the property felt very safe, we parked our rental car in lot with no issues. Food was good, rooms and grounds were clean, the beds were a little too stiff for me but my husband was ok with it.

Catering was poor, the food in the evening buffet was not good and very expensive. The breakfast is ok but needs attention to ensuring replenishment, the serving staff are inattentive, often having to be asked several times for anything. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are nice. Ensure your room is away from the bar (loud entertainment) and the road (loud), very little natural light. Housekeeping good and friendly staff. Several swimming pools all small but perhaps give an intimate feel, we didn’t use them preferring the beach at the sister hotel. Frequent shuttle to the beach there but it’s worth the walk with lots of shops and restaurants as well as the marina to see. The beach at the sister hotel is lovely however when the cruise ships are in, quite crowded.

The Waitress Staff at Bay Gardens Hotel is very unfriendly. (They even fight loudly amongst each other!) They can actually be rude when waiting to be seated in their dining area. (They will totally ignore you and make you TOTALLY not feel welcomed!) Previous reviews said the same thing, but we unfortunately witnessed it ourselves. The Restaurant is WAY overpriced for the food quality & service. However.... the Bay Gardens Beach Resort is friendly, convenient, and worth a visit. I would consider booking the Bay Gardens Resort right on the beach, but never again the Hotel. Save yourself the time and money for a "Not Great Experience", and book the Resort on the Beach. (Friendly, Helpful Staff that actually make you feel like a welcomed guest) The Bay Gardens need to clean house with their rude attitudes!!! (SIDE NOTE..... The Housekeeping & Security Staff was great! The others need to find a new career,)

As you can see from the other reviews. The hotel is dated and 3 star standard. The rooms are large but fairly basic. Everything needs updating especially the showers. However I am still rating it as good because it is in the best location on the island and is great value for the area near everything.

Great front desk could use some updates

Pretty good. We stayed on the second floor and there was no elevator also there's not much entertainment at the hotel at night. It's pretty standard and I agree with everyone about the neighborhood but I like the convenience of things being so close such as restaurants and shopping. I also requested the first floor room and it was not approved but I understood why. They explained it very nicely. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. The hotel of world could use a really deep cleaning. There are various stains and the breakfast was not included like it said it was. For some reason that app will not let me upload my photos.

What I liked about this hotel was the convenience of being close to shopping, the friendly staff, the very good breakfasts the shuttle service to their other property at the beach where you can use the beach chairs or dine in the restaurant. What could be improved are the hard beds and very lumpy pillows. Overall a good place to stay
