Lots of people to meet. Most were very friendly. Lots of sharing. Mellow place! Good music.
Staff could be more attentive. Appear to be "wrapped up in themselves." what about the paying customers. My water did not work on 2 different occasions.
As an avid traveler I really enjoyed this hostel ! It was recommended by multiple people and was great . It is a social hostel, included with a bar and multiple trips to activities, if you’re looking to party this hostel is also in the most prime location . Will most definitely be staying here again when I come back to Guadalajara

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Friendly staff. Great location. No complaints considering how much I paid. However, there are clubs around and they play loud music until 3 am in the morning. I was able to hear it even with the window closed. Thus I deducted one star. Overall, it was a nice stay.

I liked the small lock box by my bed. I would like more electrical outlets close to my bed.

This hostel was ok. But our room was next to the garden and there was loud music and shouting until midnight.
I am a constant traveler through out Mexico and have always liked staying at HHC. Compared to other places through out Mexico, this place has many things to offer during your trip... great reception staff, the best housekeeping lady and plenty of foreigners and nationals to drink and talk the night away. Walking distance from Chapu and perfect for those Sunday morning bike strolls through the closed avenue. Food next door and the marsicos on the corner are to die for.
The garden area is lovely and staff were very helpful. Breakfast is pretty basic but free so no complaints! Wouldn't recommend booking the double room with a shared bathroom because it has very thin walls/windows and is right next to the communal area so pretty noisy and little privacy because you can't open the curtains. Deluxe double on the other hand is pretty nice!
The hostel was clean, staff was very helpful. Convenient bar next door and the breakfast was enough to get you going. It can be a bit noisy at night, don’t expect to sleep well during their parties. But overall, a good experience. Clean place
It was nice to have the bar/food on site. Many different spots to relax or sit and have conversations with other travelers
Not far of a walk to restaurants or historic center.
Room was very warm.. 1 fan probided
Stayed in a private 3 bedroom with some friends while passing through Guadalajara and had a great time. Chapultepec is super modern and littered with great places to eat and drink as well as good people. The hostel has an awesome rooftop to hang out on in the evening and the yard is also a great place to relax in a hammock or get some work done or meet whoever happens to be around. We got unlucky and there was some minor walkway construction out front for the (awesome) ramen restaurant next door that woke us up in the morning but I imagine otherwise it would be very quiet tucked away on the side street. Would definitely consider staying here again if I’m in Guadalajara.
