We reserved a suite which is located on the street side. It’s was noisy at night. The mattress was very hard as was the pillows. We changed rooms after the first night. The new room was much smaller and dark. This is a historic hotel and is well preserved.

We loved the hotel itself but the bed and pillows could use an update. Also the ventilation in the room wasn't the best. It was a fantastic location, we loved the coffee and pool.

Magical
I do a lot of travelling and aside from the coffee in restaurant this is a standout hotel. The Colonial architecture is magical, it’s like Living in an apartment block . Basically a square donut with a table and chairs outside your room. Guadalajara is worth at least 3 days.
