This is NOT a five star hotel. Upon checking in they lie and upsale for a “top floor suite”, all rooms are exactly the same and the windows are terrible.

Most hotels in this category include breakfast, Riu did not. Though there is a parking garage at the hotel, guests have to pay for parking. I was not well informed about the parking process and fees. What I thought was going to be 90 pesos as the girl who checked me in said, turned out to be 300. She was short and rude at check in.

The experience in the hotel was complicated. One day in the pool completely annoyed, DJ playing music at very unnecessary high volume all day long. I decided to leave after three hours. Too many problems to pay in the property restaurants using the open credit in the front desk. I will not stay in this property ever again

The elevator there is annoying you can be stuck there for over 10min the roof top sucks all the tables are reserved and empty I couldn't get a table because they were all reserved the worst part is they were empty i had one drink and left i wanted to have a chill night there I guess they dont like money the two bed bedrooms are too small just get a king sizeand there is no blankets i was disappointed mattress were old with bed bugs

In general our experience was great! The only thing that can be improved to make it excellent is having smart TV’s (with smart features) in the rooms. It’s very disappointing that we were unable to watch any streaming service or do the casting because it’s locked or the TV’s are outdated.
