The staff was excellent - particularly Jaime the concierge. He was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable and attended to all of our needs. We had a really great stay! A couple of minor items that ought to be attended to - the restaurant is really slow - not sure if its the front of house or back of house but breakfast took entirely too long and I'm not just saying that as an impatient American. We're talking over an hour for coffee and yogurt. They need to step up their game. Hot tub isn't hot but it wasn't hot at the other 5-star hotel I stayed at in GDL so maybe it's an energy issue. The gym is fairly basic - needs free weights and stretching mats. A portion of it should be padded. Some of the machines made funky noises when you used them - a maintenance issue. Overall, we really had a spectacular stay and would come back.

Restaurant service needs attention

Great visit except for poor service in the restaurant. Service very very slow (1+ hours for breakfast to arrive) and then orders were incorrect (same for 2 days). Definitely needs attention. Concierge was definite highlight of the Quinta’s staff. Jamie and staff were outstanding.

Need to be better at controlling noise

It is a beautiful hotel but not close to anything touristy. The hallway noise all night was very disturbing. They do not enforce their smoke free policy. Many were smoking in the dining area.

Every time we travel to Guadalajara this is our favorite place to stay. Unfortunately in this occasion I was expecting a little token of appreciation. because they knew that we were celebrating our marriage, we had to pay extra money for a permit to take pictures on the premises. other observations the blanket, the carpet and dust on the furniture. Hopefully the administration reed this and pay attention to this complains, because this is a beautiful hotel.
