From the moment we arrived, Parco dei Principi delivered an experience that epitomised elegance, sophistication, and impeccable hospitality. Nestled beside the beautiful Villa Borghese gardens, the hotel offers a tranquil sanctuary away from the bustle of Rome while remaining perfectly positioned to explore the Eternal City. Every aspect of our stay reflected a commitment to excellence. The interiors exude timeless grandeur, combining classic Italian luxury with refined attention to detail. The rooms were beautifully appointed, immaculately maintained, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and opulence. The service throughout was exemplary. Every member of staff demonstrated genuine professionalism, warmth, and a dedication to ensuring that every moment of our stay was memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, and the level of personalised attention elevated the experience far beyond that of a typical five-star hotel. The facilities are equally impressive. The magnificent spa, elegant pool area, and superb dining options create an atmosphere of pure indulgence, allowing guests to relax and unwind in absolute comfort. What truly sets Parco dei Principi apart is its sense of understated class. There is a rare feeling of exclusivity and refinement throughout the property, reminiscent of a bygone era of luxury, yet delivered with all the comforts expected of a world-class hotel.

The staff at Hotel Maximus were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. They were by far the highlight of our experience. The room was surprisingly spacious for Rome, which we appreciated. However, it was not as clean as we expected. The biggest drawback was the location. Although it is relatively close to the main train station, it is far from most of Rome’s main attractions. The neighborhood is not very tourist-oriented, and we didn’t feel particularly comfortable walking around at night. One evening, there was no hot water for showers, which was very disappointing after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, we found our stay disappointing, even for a three-star hotel. While the staff were excellent, the location, cleanliness, and hot water issue significantly affected our experience.
