Best hotel to stay in Yangshuo
1. Beautiful (tranquil scenery) stay at Bamboo Leaf hotel which is just a short walk /free shuttle from the noisy busy tourist resort downtown. 2. English speaking reception staff are very helpful with tourist advice and transport questions 3. Comfortable beds and great rain shower option 4. Wow- finally a China hotel which washes laundry for ¥20/kg (rather than ¥20 per item) 5. Great included breakfast and coffee

I would give The Bamboo Leaf staff 6 out of 5 if I could, they were all FANTASTIC! They couldn’t have been more helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel, fabulous modern, super clean, spacious rooms with great facilities. And the breakfast is terrific. Thank you for hosting us.

Good stay but very busy, not enough chairs or loungers around the pool for guests. Also adveritsed jacuzzi hot tub pool was drained with a hole in it. The room and staff were amazing though and a fantastix peaceful location, gentle stroll into the town.

Great relaxing hotel
I was quite pleased to have found this hotel to stay for my trip to Guangxi after the LiJiang river cruise. I stayed for 3 days in June 2021 and would highly recommend this to others. The hotel is very foreigner-friendly and both the location and restaurant were great. As for the location - it's a bit removed from the downtown and I say that in a good way. You feel like you are literally right in the mountains which is more peaceful than staying downtown. That being said, it's still only a 20 minute walk to downtown. The service was great; the staff called me the day before my check-in and sent me the location on WeChat which was very helpful. The staff is friendly and very helpful if you need help arranging anything. The restaurant on the 6th floor was great; food was fantastic, service excellent; they were very accommodating. To the point where after seeing me not eat the toast with my breakfast for 2 days, on the 3rd they offered me more vegetables or eggs in-lieu of toast. I speak a decent amount of Chinese but their English was better than my Chinese. Note - I usually try to eat local food but after a year and a half here in China I was very happy to eat some high-quality Western style meals. I really enjoyed my time here and highly recommend to everyone and especially foreigners.

Perfect peaceful base for exploring Yangshuo
Great location, super friendly staff, big comfortable room. Took the superior double which had a great bath tub with a view. Free shuttle to downtown area very convenient, but walking also a good option (15mins via riverside walkway).Breakfast was great. Will stay again.

Best place to stay in Yangshuo!
It was simply wonderful! The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and I love how it’s decorated. I reserved the corner suite and took full advantage of the bathtub. The 6th floor is the restaurant and management was so kind to give me a birthday cheesecake. Delicious breakfast, big salads and juicy burgers! It is one of the best cheesecakes I’ve tried in China. The pool and billiards table are on the 2nd floor. And front desk was able to book my private transfer vehicle from the hotel to Guilin Airport cheaper than Didi. Take full advantage of their shuttle service into the city center. Nice and quiet, great place to unwind while only being 5 minute drive from the center. 100% stay there again!

Our stay at Bamboo Leaf was great. The best customer service, very very comfy beds, beatiful views, very stylish interior design, free upgrade, great customer experiences...It's a bit far from main street, with about 20 mins walk along the river or otherwise free shuttle works well. The touching moment was a special gift for my daughter. Thanks so much Bamboo Leaf, its such a memorable trip to China. Highly recommended to all of you.

As solo traveller the bamboo leaf offered everything I wanted: comfort, peace, advice about what to do, smiles and flexibility. I stayed in one of the corner rooms and everything exceeded my expectations. Fine bedding and towels, an amazing bath tube (which proved very useful after a day of hiking), the rainfall shower very warm strong. Everything felt newly built and with very good taste. To wrap up the staff was always trying to make sure I had everything I needed, from bottles of water to flexible transfer times to hired tours. I absolutely recommend this property.

All Staffs were friendly and helpful. All speak good English . They helped us to get a nice transportation within our budget to Guilin train station for our next trip. Restaurant was great with reasonable price and good service. Love the free shuttle to town center. They picked us up from station to hotel for free. Thanks . Driver was helpful and nice .We also enjoyed the seasonal passion fruit provided at the front desk. Had Scooters rental for RMB80. Was fun to ride the scooter. Nice clean room and huge bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and recommend to those who want a relaxing vacation should stay at this hotel. It was a good memory for our 30th anniversary..

A different sort of hotel - stay there.
Staff are magnificent, nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful arranging our river cruise, raft trip, paramotor flight and the Yungsahou evening show. Shuttle service into town also good and really enjoyed the food. Very quiet location away from the hectic and busy town but also only a few minutes drive to the action.Like it a lot, somewhere a bit different from other mainstream hotels. Swimming pool a welcome bonus. One thing to note - there were no wardrobes in the two rooms we booked. Not a problem for us and there are some hooks provided. Such a great place that this was absolutely no big deal. Will be back next year, love it.
