Our stay at The Tides was amazing. The lobby is gorgeous and offered food and coffee options. Plus it smell so good! Our room was great and worked out perfectly for our family! We loved being right on the beach as well! We will stay here again!

A Lie when the truth would be okay!
The property was very nice, on the beach, great pool and fabulous breakfast. I would have rated it a 5 star, but the description of the initial room i booked said, ocean view. The ocean could be seen partially if you stepped on the balcony and looked around a wall and several miles farther you could see the ocean. When I complained the staff could not even look me in the eye and said, we don't do the advertising. I ended up paying about 80 dollars more for a great ocean view. This fake advertising needs to be fixed.

Our room was listed as beach view, Had a lot better view of the construction site next door and the road. ⚠️ when booking here as the building next door goes up there will be very little view . .

What a difference a year makes! I have always liked this hotel, a decent basic hotel with just a few amenities. No there are no amenities to speak of. No complimentary breakfast, not even coffee in the lobby. just a marginal hotel. And sadly a big building is going up next door which will obstruct the partial beach view rooms. No food options except pizza which the staff talks up like it is a big amenity- it isn't! That being said the staff is nice- great female bartender at the pool. Room is basic and clean.

Great Quality for less money
From the beautiful balcony view of the ocean, to the comfy bed and living space, this property was an incredible value! The breakfast buffet included a custom made omelette station with Thomas, who was a master at his craft! It was easy to reserve chairs and umbrellas through a vendor on the beach, and charge them to our room. Service was great and it was nice to just stroll out the back of the hotel and be on the beach! Our room also had an alcove with bunk beds that would be great for a family. Highly recommend!

We came for my birthday from 10/24 -10/27 and glad to have chosen this hotel . Friendly and welcoming staff. We were on the 7th floor beach front balcony and the view were spectacular. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too .The hotel does not serve dinner but there are so many great places nearby that made up for it . I highly recommend this hotel to anyone else.
