The property is not on the beach but advertised that it is.General manager refused to refund my deposit when asked although she did refund another guest. She said that my reservation was made months ago and I should have found out and cancelled on my own. She was mean and should not be in that kind of position. Expedia was no help. I will not use expedia again

The rooms were clean and the bedding comfortable. Great view from the balcony. Employees were all very friendly and professional. The only concern was the room door not locking when closing and hanging up until the key was used to free it.

Hotel was fine. Room was large. the "view" was ok. Breakfast was standard. The pool is nice with lots of seating, my only complaint is that because the hotel sits on the main road its very noisy and unpleasant to listen to cars constantly while trying to relax at the pool. Idk why they didnt built a taller wall or build the pool on the otherside of the hotel. Another issue is beach access. On the map, its right across the street. But you either jay walk across a very busy road, or you have to walk down to the light and walk all the way around. Theres also no parking at this access point so youre only choice is to walk or drive somewhere else. Also, our room was never cleaned while we were there. And we had 2 babies with us so our trash filled up the first day and we ended up taking the trash out ourselves and we had to ask for towels cuz they were never switched out. The pool was also out of towels our first night. Pool doesnt close til like 10pm, we were there about 5 and no towels. My last complaint is that this is a "100% smoke free hotel" it says so right when you walk in. HOWEVER the designated smoking area are the benches right in front of the entrance! Literally the ONLY way inside the hotel is to walk past the smoking area. I even clarified with staff because that seemed insane to me that a smoke free hotel allowed people to smoke in front of the entrance. While the hotel was clean, and fine, we wont be back to this location because of these things.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, centrally located, short walk to the beach. Great place to stay for a beach trip! Free breakfast was a bit crowded but better than paying $20/person for breakfast someplace else.

Each room has a brand new HVAC unit that is super quiet. The free breakfast was well maintained. The pool area is very nice. Location is excellent, located at the end of the Gulf Shores main strip, so is quiet, easy entrance/exit of the parking lot. Also, the back exit is a "secret" way to avoid the main road if you are heading into Gulf Shores proper.

The room was a nice big room but the big empty space was poorly utilized. There should have been a half bath at least in the second bedroom and a kitchenette would have been nice. Even a small table for 4. The bathroom needed a serious dusting.
