You get a text with what number and the code to get in your room. No check in. We were disappointed bc there wasn’t a fridge. That’s the only complaint we had. It’s clean a good place for a night or two stay. It’s got a tv, bed, and shower.

I misread property details.. I thought there was a lake with boardwalk. Missing bidets in bathroom. Picture showed a mini fridge and there is none. Price is fair for this motel just disappointed.

Crappy bathroom

The bathtub has a hole in it which makes the floor very wet. It was wet even before we took a shower.

I made arrangements to stay here on my way to “the Soo” and I’m happy to have found this little place on hotels.com. It’s a down home little motel with a good little restaurant next door with basic offerings for travelers through the southern UP.

Was good stay beds comfortable and clean room had a funky smell but wasn’t terrible. I booked on line was little weird with no office to check in you get a text with room number and door code. Overall great stay for the price! And restaurant next door was great!

Motel itself was exactly what you’d expect considering the age of the building. It was fine for sleeping…just very old. The restaurant however leaves a lot to be desired. They were short staffed and didn’t know how to cook.

Great place to stop for the night! Room was very clean and cozy. No food within 20 minutes but that wasn't a problem, I think their new restaurant just opened a couple days after we left! My girlfriend hates motels but was pleasantly surprised when we opened the door! Would stay here again!
