The hotel was located very close to the train and bus station in a nice quiet street. It was about a 10 minute walk to city centre. The hotel was nicely decorated, very very clean and a delight to stay in. Breakfast was good, dinner was on the small side but good. The only thing we didn’t like was the lighting- we found the room quite dark and it was difficult to read in. The staff went above and beyond to answer any of our queries- they were superb and all was done with a smile. We would highly recommend this hotel.

First, know that there is no elevator! We overlooked this detail when booking the hotel and regretted it. Our room was on the top floor. The man at the front desk graciously carried our bag up and I lugged it down three flights of steep Dutch death stairs in the morning. Not an easy feat for a small woman who might have done a little shopping on her 10 day trip. Other than the accessibility factor, this is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms.

I thought the decor was pretty funky, but it worked. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and access to the coffee machine 24/7 was a very welcome perk. The location was perfect. All said, it was a bit pricey but probably not relative to other Haarlem hotels.

Boutique stay.

Amazing helpful and pleasant staff. I booked the large ground floor suite which was amazing. Some may find the hotel and rooms unusual as it a boutique 70s style but really cool. It’s in 3 sections of a lounge, a bathroom area and a bedroom. The lounge area has a settee and large TV. The bath is huge and shaped like a hammock and fits 2 in but there is also a really nice shower area. The bedroom is large with a really comfortable XL bed and also has a TV. The areas were spotless and clean towels each day. Only had breakfast in the hotel which was continental style but there was bacon, scrambled or boiled eggs, streaky bacon, fresh tomato, mushrooms and hash browns. You can also order various egg combinations. Very relaxing stay.

Nice stay and great for exploring Haarlem. Great breakfast. Nice public spaces, though bedroom trying a little too hard. Had just come from a week in Amsterdam at the Pulitzer which is a different level again.

What a great little hotel in the middle of a lovely city, less than a 6-minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to the city center. I can't say enough about the hotel and staff. We will be back!

Great location near the train station. We wanted to visit Amsterdam and to save money we stayed here since it is very close to the train station. I love the interior desigm and would definitely come back. Late at night there is a tabby cat waiting at the door or inside the hotel. He is a very nice fellow and I suggest you pet him. We got back from a night in town and the cat followed us to the hotel bar to have a beer with us.

A hidden gem in Haarlem

Welcomed upon a late arrival after 11pm by Ava and Storm... super helpful, kind, and efficient. Unique room with comfortable bed and awesome shower. Convenient to train staion for 15min ride into Amsterdam. Many restaurants nearby.
