I needed a place to stay in Haifa for a couple of nights, and the Hotel Marom was great, and didn't break the bank. Marina and her team were kind, spoke great English, and were very accommodating. Located in the middle of the city on a hill, WAZE was able to get me there and back every time with ease.

Doesn't answer nice to the phone, the hotel is old and not maintained properly. The floor tile in my room was broken and at night I cut my leg deep because of it and it ruined my day. It didn't even seem tell someone because of how old and smelly everything was. Its good it was just for 1 night.

Good/bad news

The good news about this hotel is that it's cheap, the bed was good and the room was quiet. So, I slept pretty well. The desk is in the right place and easy to use near plug sockets. Booking and check-in was fine. Breakfast during Passover was not included in the price which was good because the hotel is not kosher. That is is where the good news finishes. As their responses to reviews shows and a reaction to a problem I had the owners/managers do not like customers and that drives all the problems with the hotel. Their reaction to a comment about difficulties using the TV was to say that I should have asked the owner about the problem in the morning. Well, most customers use TVs in the evening not the morning. The explanation for the receptionist's lack of interest at night that staff at night are only for security tells you much about the owners' approach. I lost a rucksack strap during my trip. One of the managers ridiculed the possibility that it could have been left in the lobby. So, I went back to the room. Under the bed, there was a thick layer of dust and a condiment packet from a fast-food place. There was no apology. This could be a decent cheap option for those happy to stay away from the center - the venue isn't great but then the price reflects that. However, this will not happen with the current people in charge.

the best for the fare

Hotel Marom is a family owned hotel. Simple (not fancy at all ), very convenient, great location, free parking and free internet with lovely owners on site willing to provide assistance anytime. I have stayed there many times for several years. Was always a good experience at a very good fare.

Excllent price performance

Looked for a reasonable priced hotel for a family stay in Haifa during the international film festival. We are an Israeli family of 5 (3 teenage kids). The hotel was a perfect solution at a third of the price of anything else in the area. The location was wonderful and the benefit beats the price 10 fold.

Mit dem Aufenthalt im Hotel Morom sehr zufrieden.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend von Haifa. Mit dem Auto erreicht man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Haifa in kürzester Zeit. Auch fahren Linienbusse nur wenige Schritte entfernt ins Zentrum von Haifa. Parkplätze stehen in ausreichender Anzahl und kostenlos zur Verfügung, so das eine lästige Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Die Betreiberfamilie ist höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam gegenüber den Gästen. Das Zimmer das wir nutzten, war hell, freundlich und in einem guten Zustand. Das Frühstück ist für israelische Verhältnisse angemessen, obwohl die elektrischen Geräte( Toster)unbedingt erneuert werden müssen. Wir verbrachten 11 Nächte im Hotel und werden sicherlich bei unserem nächsten Besuch das Hotel wieder buchen.

Very Nice Hotel in a LOvely neighborhood

The hotel is very nice and situated in a lovely neighborhood with a large mall nearby that had Kosher restaurants. The room size was fine with good space for storage and very clean. The breakfast was served in a very nice, large room with a variety of choices. The manager was friendly and helpful. I feel it is a great bargain. It also had easy access to other parts of Haifa that were of interest. I would stay there again.

No geral foi boa. Café da manha bem servido; o carpete está sendo abandonado pela maioria dos hoteis por questôes de higiene e trocado por piso laminado ou cerámica/porcelanato. O asseio do banheiro bem feito. Trata-se de um hotel familiar bem atendido pelos proprietários. As comodidades do hotel sâo razoãveis mas achei os quartos muito pequenos e incomoda a circulação de duas pessoas. As camas que eles colocaram para nos foram duas de solteiro juntas e para um casal incomoda muito. A excelente localização compensou os pontos negativos.
