I don’t think I have been to a hotel with customer service as great as this. We had an issue with the wifi not working which eventually required changing rooms but the staff did everything they could to find and correct the issue before having to move. When we did end up moving they came to help us and made sure we were comfortable in the new room. The hotel was $$ as it’s right by the waterfront but I feel it was worth the $$ for sure especially being so close to the water and the great customer service. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant both mornings of our stay (not included) and the food was great. Would def recommend staying here if wanting to be close to the harbour.

We couldn't find a parking spot one day and then our key wouldn't work. These things happen but the guy on the desk gave us a free breakfast. We had gone to breakfast the day before and it was excellent. When we went for the "free" breakfast it wasn't good at all. Sorry we did this as we were going to go out somewhere else for breakfast and were sorry we didn't.

The check-in was fast with friendly staff. The property and rooms were quite clean and maintained. Bed was very comfortable for a good night sleep. It is within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and the harbour front area.

Room and dining service

Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean and well supplied. Great food options for dinner but happy hour 3-6 appetizers and drinks limited. When we got our bill it was the wrong one so pointed it out to server. Plus our appetizers weren’t half price. We didn’t point this out. Our server seemed very stressed but we felt it was due to working alone on a holiday. We tipped generously hoping to improve her mood!

Hotel is great. Love the location in the city. Just parked the car and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Clean room, comfy queen beds, fit our needs nicely. Only thing we didn’t like was the hotel restaurant. Went there for a quick drink. Entire restaurant smelled of old fryer oil. They were out of the wine we ordered and what we got instead was fairly poor. Experience sent us elsewhere in search of breakfast the next morning. Thankfully there’s a wonderful breakfast spot directly across the street. Would highly recommend staying here for a day exploring downtown Halifax

Upon arrival there was a beer can in the waste basket under the desk, They took the bath floor mat after the 1st day and did not leave another 1 until the 3rd day I do want to compliment the Wait Staff at the restaurant on the fourth floor they were very friendly with me and that meant a lot since I was travelling alone
