The parking for two weeks for a one night stay is a very attractive feature to stay at this hotel. The transition from Quality Inn to Halifax Airport is fairly smooth… restaurant needs some direction mmmm… too ordinary, get some imagination there. Doesn’t have to be posh but doesn’t have to be chip wagon.

The airprot shuttle service very useful for me and my family. The beds and pillows were very comfortable Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the very limited free breakfast. Also, the shampoo & hair conditioner dispensers were not handicapped friendly.

The building is a renovated old low rise hotel that was showing its age. The place is clean and there is a decent pool and restaurant on site. However, there isn’t much around the immediate area and I would only stay there again if I needed to be close to the airport.

We stayed here for 4 nights (before and after our time on Cape Breton Island). Mixed feelings. The staff are kind and very helpful, the location & shuttle service are a big plus. However, the hotel itself is run-down. Mold in the shower, gunky corners at every turn, peeling paint, etc. The indoor pool was pretty nasty: obvious water line and rust everywhere. (Also quite deep. Werenoth swimmers, but those with children should beware) The biggest issue: Housekeeping didn't come at ALL in 3 nights/days: they said due to drought, but that doesn't make sense. We had to take our own garbage to the hall for pickup and needed to ask for another towel after I used one to scrub the black mold in the shower. I'm assuming they are understaffed and concentrating on the rooms of those checking out, but not great for those of us who stayed multiple nights. The free breakfast is fine, but geberates a tremendous amount of garbage: all mini- containers and disposable plates. Rather odd, since there's a restaurant in the same room later in the day. The restaurant "Hidden Gem" has a good selection of sandwiches, burers, etc. Large portions.
