They have put a lot of time and energy into their renovations. The rooms all look and feel renovated and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!!

We liked the location, best value in Halifax, Rooms were very clean, beds were comfy, check in was smooth and friendly. Rooms come with a fulls size fridge sink and microwave but no utensils The only thing we found disappointing was only package of sugar. It would have been nice to have extra coffee/creamer/sugar

Pleasantly surprised by how well maintained this place was. Every thing was very clean and taken care of. Also found the staff super friendly and accommodating. Property itself was very quiet and well lit. Police station next door definitely gave that extra safe feeling!

Do not reserve at this hotel! When you arrive they insist that you allow them to scan an image of your Government ID?!?! If you care about identity theft and dont submit to the scan, they kick you out and then steal your deposit. Taking a scan is not in their public policy statement. Government ID is a gateway to identity theft and must be protected and used for visual verification only. Expedia wont back you up on this either. Stay elsewhere!

This was our first opportunity to stay here. We based it on the recent reviews and found them to be accurate in most aspects. The premise has recently been renovated and is quite comfortable with standard room features. We only utizied the full size fridge as there as NO dishes supplied even though it has a microwave. It could use a toaster too. Cleaning up a couple of dishes after our stay isn't a huge stretch on the staff..... Check in was easy. Gordon very courtious. Bed was very comfortable although there were only two pillows. Room service thoughout the stay was excellent and thorough. Perhaps a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang my travel bag or my wife's makeup case. All in all a lovey, economical motel close to the city, the 102 and outlining shopping areas. Will definitely stay when we travel to Halifax again. :-)
