While we were not expecting a 5 star motel this is a tired motel. the rooms while clean enough, are old, in need of updates. the linen and towels are worn. The biggest issue is that for a motel with 20 rooms there is 17 parking slots. Right in front of our room a trailer was parked with an ATV on top of the no parking sign and blocking the only wheelchair access that I could see. The person in the office knew that it was there and didn't do anything and basically said good luck with the parking. I would recommend that you spend the extra $20 and stay elsewhere

I liked that the room had a beautiful view of the lake and having the room service was nice. When I went to check in, it took 10 minutes of standing there waiting for the receptionist to end a phone conversation which was a little frustrating. The room itself had a running toilet and the fridge compressor was so loud when it kicked in it startled me during the night. Also parking in the tiny stalls with the posts so close was a little tricky and would be difficult for someone with accessibility issues.

The property is getting tired and in need of a good remodelling. The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. It took a long time for the security deposit to be cleared from my credit card, I'm not sure if this was their or my banks problem
