Parking was an issue - not enough room between pillars. The first night someone with a handicap tag parked in a regular stall. The handicap stall remained empty. The 2nd night someone with an EV parked in the handicap stall. No handicap tag. Management should monito parking and make sure people park in the correct stalls.

Our room was spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable. We even had a view of the lake. Outside seating area was on the shore of the lake; beautiful!! Wifi didn't work in our room, but it did closer to the office and outside.

Our recent stay at the Lakeview Motel was a bit of a mixed bag. The reception staff, available only until 9 PM, made our late check-in difficult, and despite repeated requests, our need for a ground floor room went unmet. Bed quality was subpar, with noisy frames disrupting sleep, and while the bedding was clean, it was noticeably aged. The advertised 'Lakeview' was obstructed by trees and there was no dedicated area to enjoy the view. However, not everything was disappointing. The rooms were well-cleaned, and the service from the Indian lady at reception was a highlight of our stay, with her helpful and courteous approach. Overall, there are areas where the Lakeview Motel needs to improve to enhance the guest experience, and we hope the management takes this feedback into consideration.

The motel is very nice. Spacious room, spectacular views. The staff are great, especially housekeeping. My only complaint (no fault of the motel) is the loud, constant speeding traffic going by constantly.

Great location, clean but dated
The first room we were given smelt of smoke we got moved after asking, however the person in the room next to us vaped with the door open. The picture of the lake is great but there are no balconies there is a sitting area by the lake that was nice.It is a real mix of short term rental one or two nights and longer rentals. Overall it was clean but dated. It is in a great location for Peggy’s cove if you want to bypass Halifax

It’s a old building but the lake in back kf it is beautiful The internet had great service and lots of apps to choose from. The beds were very stiff. Great the place had a big fridge and counter and good microwave The price was really reasonable and not far from the city

Amazing stay, and so so so sooo clean! Our only issue was parking. They do have parking, but it is very very close together, especially when people arent parked perfectly. We could hardly park, we were sticking out about 3 feet all night.
