Bed comfortable. Quiet. Registered four guests but coffee for two ( most hotels get the towels right but not the coffee). Pet peeve. No shampoo in dispenser or it didn’t work. There was extra shampoo in small bottle by sink. Bar great..excellent staff ..

Staff members are personable and professional, with an extra nod to the bartender, who has a special flare for cocktails, and Danielle, the guest services manager. The public gardens across to the street are not to be missed. Excellent dining options everywhere, and just a 10 minute walk to the waterfront. This hotel has a warmth and personal touch that is lacking in big, corporate chains. This was our second stay at the Lord Nelson, and we will definitely be back.
