Beautiful hotel! Loved the decor, cleanliness, space, staff, and easy check in/out. The only thing that I didn't like was the water took a long time to drain after a shower.

This property and the staff were amazing! Very clean and comfortable upscale property within walking distance of the public gardens, the Citadel and the waterfront. Excellent shopping and dining options nearby. The restaurant in the hotel was also very good! We ate there 3 times and everything was excellent.

Excellent stay and top quality chef.
The room was very large and welcoming with lots of good quality amenities. Staff so pleasant especially in the dining room and food there of excellent quality. Our favourite stay on our American/Canadian holiday. One suggestion that would make it easier next time on check in is if they could have a lower desk as it was very hard to speak to staff and sign in with the high desk in reception when I was in my wheelchair.

Great location for downtown attractions. Pleasant staff. Room was adequate, not nearly as elegant as the lobby area. Typical of hotels of its era. Nice historic property.

Property is in need of a facelift, the lobby present’s well; however that’s where it ends. The Hallways and rooms are dated and need to be updated , the website images do not reflect the reality of the hotel. Definitely over priced for the condition. Stay away

Fantastic location: super easy access to more than a dozen restaurants and bars, and an easy 15 minute walk to a dozen dozen restaurants and bars downtown or on the harbor. And right across the street from beautiful Spring Garden park.

This hotel is a real gem. It's conveniently located near the major sites, and the property boasts a nice combination of old school Grand Hotel charm with moderate amenities. The hotel staff are great, however the concierge, Kari, went out of her way to be helpful. There's lots of good dining in the area but don't overlook the hotel's Arms restaurant, which is excellent.
