The place is beautiful. Check in codes were not sent and no reception. The restaurant was closed and had to go into town to get food. The room has notices if you use the cutlery and don’t wash it there is a $20/- charge and if the room is messy $50/- charge. There is no staff around at all.

Restaurant doesnt have a liquor license at this time so could not serve alcohol. Although the pizzas we took away were huge and very tasty and Had beers in our room. Otherwise fantastic views and wild life in abundance. Comfy stay.

A pleasant surprise.
Actually quite enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and warm over a cold wet weekend. Spartan in appearance but spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and a good sized television. The views of wildlife from the front window was spectacular. Would happily stay there again. Great value.

Rooms very clean and tidy, but dated. I believe the owners are new so perhaps they’re working through systematically, but the one I was allocated was extremely dated in decor and facilities. It was expensive for what it was. Also restaurant not declared as closed (due to it being off season) when I booked, I wasn’t planning on using it but if I had it would have been annoying so may be worth checking if you are wanting to use it.

The property was well located a couple of Kms out of Halls Gap which we felt was ideal. While the rooms were of an older style they were clean and tidy. The only minor issue was the quality of the TV. The picture was often very difficult to watch.

A beautiful area in which to stay. The room was spacious, the beds vwry comfortable and the in room facilities adequate The only real criticism is that we thought that the beds would have been made and rubbish removed on our first out of two days. However, qe are very happy to recommend your motel to friends.
