The hotel has apparently undergone renovation in the recent past, but the room is somewhat shabby. The quality of food in the restaurant is very high, although the prices are on the higher side. Breakfast is excellent. A very nice bonus in the form of a small fitness center, swimming pool, and relatively spacious sauna.

On my visit to Norway I looked for a property close to where I was working. As a keen golfer I noticed the property advertised an on site golf course and driving range. This was the main reason I booked this hotel. I paid extra to fly my clubs over. To my surprise on arrival there was not a golf course in site or driving range. When I enquired about the facility’s I was told the nearest course was over 20 minutes away. This was really disappointing. The property didn’t have an electric charge point either. This has really put me off using hotels.com again now as I don’t know what to expect from the advertised rooms. The room didn’t look anything like the advertised room and it definitely wasn’t a queen bed. The room temperature couldn’t be adjusted and the room was very basic and not what I was expecting for the price I paid.

Reception staff continually lying to me regarding all the problems that I had. Room description was nothing like the room I paid for. The rooms were dirty. The towels were not changed. The bins were not emptied. Room keycards kept on failing. Breakfast food was warm to cold. The bedding was not changed regularly. No water. No tea. Plastic cups.

Begynte med at TV-en ikke fungerte. De «hadde det travelt», så jeg fikk et nytt rom (og måtte flytte på alt). Skulle spise middag i restauranten deres på kvelden, men det gikk ikke for «de hadde så mange julebordsgjester og travelt at de stengte for øvrige gjester». Til frokosten neste dag, når vi selvfølgelig hadde det travelt, manglet både bestikk og kaffe (begge kaffemaskinene sto til rensing kl 07:45). Litt for mye «knirk» for min smak.
